State Senator that voted present on controvesial issues
No business experience

I would not put down the alternative so quickly.

Can you cite your source, or is this just your opinion? BTW, Barrack is spelled Barack.

He needs to do a little proof reading from time to time ...

“White House mixes up Colorado and Wyoming on the map"

“Per CNN's Mark Walz, the credentials given to members of the press corps traveling with President Obama on his campaign swing out west this week included a map that mistakenly identified Wyoming as Colorado.
“The two rectangular states do look similar on the map, but it's a pretty embarrassing error, especially considering how important Colorado might be to President Obama's re-election chances next year.”

And spend more time taking care of his own backyard ....

“Germany Told The White House That Boosting The EU Rescue Fund Would Be A 'Stupid' Idea”

“According to The Telegraph, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble said that boosting the EFSF would be a stupid idea because it would "endanger the AAA sovereignty of member states."
“And when the White House said that failing to to recapitalize banks was "scaring the world," Schauble basically told it to mind its own business.”

Did you ever hear the joke about the .....smartest guy on the airplane? It involved a boy scout, the pope, a president, and a real smart guy (according to himself).

Is Bastrop in Colorado or Wyoming?

We don't know how Barack di in school so your comparison is irrelevant. For the record I don't care nor do I want to know how he did in school because it does not matter.

What has he done in his carreer that demonstrates this massive intelligence that people give him credit for having. I have not seen it.

Furthermore, you acquiesce to the “opinion” of one historian. The weight of academic opinion is against Beschloss and, therefore, you.

“I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.” President John F. Kennedy as he addressed a White House gathering of 49 Nobel Prize winners (29 April 1962).

Thomas Jefferson – graduated from the College of William and Mary. He was accomplished in philosophy, mathematics, history, French, Latin and Greek. Jefferson was a polymath – a person who is distinguished in many varied fields. He was: a(n) archeologist, author, inventor, lawyer, musician (talented in the cello, clavichord and violin) ornithologist, paleontologist, poet and speechmaker. He was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence and, with James Madison, co-authored the Constitution of Virginia. He is hands down considered one of – if not – the most intelligent American president(s) in U.S. history. Yet, and impressively, a 2006 study estimates that Jefferson had only the second highest IQ of any U.S. president: John Q Adams is considered by many to have an even higher IQ. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1...06.00524.x/pdf
