Service concept I would like feedback on- A cam site that you control.
Want to generate some extra income, but don't want to have to schill for the hosted sites to get paid? Looking for a way to provide an extra service to friends, but don't want to leave your private video, photo or live streamed sessions on the servers of a middle man? I might be able to help you out.
As a 26 year veteran of the IT/IS field, with resume credits including one of the most prestigious cancer institutes in the world, as well as a web designer and programmer with several high profile clients to my credit, I left the field to go to school for a more technically advanced career. Now, beginning my 4th of an 8 year education path, I'm hoping to find a bit of side work to keep things moving, so here is what I'm proposing...
Based on specifications we would discuss, I will design, spec and prepare a plan for a system that will allow you to stream your own cam shows to paying clients. Anything from allowing access to pre-recorded video on demand from a home server, to multi viewer, multi cam, multi girl, chat enabled systems that you have all in your own home are possible, allowing you to tailor it to your level of interest and available involvement time. Once designed, should you decide to go forward with the plan, I will assist in purchase, instillation, web integration and security, and training on using it post deployment. To be clear, this is not a package offer, and you will be responsible for the cost of the equipment as well as the monthly cost of the required internet service and any fees that may be associated with collecting subscription charges, but this can be done in stages to defray cost, as well as other options that could be discussed.
To be clear a second time, I am not offering anything in a play for service trade. The first five I complete and deliver design of will be done free strictly to generate reviews, but after those a nominal fee will be assessed for the design phase due upon delivery of the prepared report (less than the cost of a hair/nail appointment for any but the most complex of designs), and a one time cost will be included in that report for install services that can be broken up over time. Some parts of the process will involve in person meetings, site visits, or personal contact outside of usual provider methods, but anything I request will be fully explained to ensure comfort, and while not illegal, all contact information will be held in strict confidence. As this is a side project, only a low number of clients will be worked with initially until interest level is established..
