Paramour is too French, cause... ‘Merica!!

Call girl..I’m a texter

Hooker..not sure if I’ve ever used the term.

Whore, harlot, strumpet, tramp, slut, bimbo are in my mind terms reserved for the civilian world that end up costing you more than professionals.

Yeah, ladies is probably the safest bet.

Good thing I only pay for time, otherwise I’d be labeled a John, I don’t want to be a John, all the Johns I’ve known have been dicks. No offense to my brethren Johns that I have not met and who may or may not be dicks.

yes based on one who provides as the definition we are providers as well! I put ( provide) food on the table of the poor families of Eastern Europe ( and their boyfriends) via providing payment in Euros....also clothing , perfume and watch provider seems like now too

and I guess on those matters a driver is one who drives. An eater one who eats, a server one who serves and so on..

a fucker is one who fucks
a hooker one who hooks

and of course we can wear multiple hats in this game. A shopper is one who shops and a provider is one who provides so today in the Domain I can play a dual role; that of a shopper and provider at the same time by shopping and providing simultaneously

English is such an easy language!

I guess that once again I find myself having to say that I am just a simple guy....

Using a derogatory term for one who chooses to make themselves available for temporary companionship demeans oneself. (my opinion)
Would a lady want to spend quality time with some one who insults her? I think not.

I personally prefer the term "Lady" and will use it until told or shown other wise by either behavior or actions.

I am sure the ladies would love the above but let's look at it from a different angle. One of reality.

And yes, you are entitled to your opinion but as you have written such you would be implying that one that uses the terms in question in this thread is demeaning oneself which could in turn be viewed as a slap at those who IMHO see reality not fantasy in this P6 world. However I don't think the realists would be upset as this is simply a great post that demonstrates in a fine exemplary manner one of the more profound divisions that separate the hobbyist's from the monger's train of thought. Your opinion is clearly that of a hobbyist and others that of a monger. No one more right than the other and neither side not entitled to their opinion what it boils down to is one school of players ( one who plays) is showing the mind of a realist and the other player who also plays sees it differently as a fantasy unable to see this game when stripped down to the bare bones of what it is...Time/Sex for money. And how is sex for money defined in the dictionary and which words are used to describe the women and the men who engage in this activity. How are those words in and of themselves derogatory?

But to each their own...

IMHO the words to describe a WG ( probably one of the best fit terms both schools of reality and fantasy on both M and F sides could agree on) are not derogatory in nature of by definition itself rather the connotation, intent and verbiage used. And that would be the second definition of verbiage not the first when applied to the above statement.

It comes down to the adjectives and adverbs used to describe such words or the extent of the negative connotations presented when a writer or speaker uses the choice words. That is where these words get insulting.

It would appear to address the OP initial question from the replies in this thread that the terms as is would be viewed ( per the poll too) as offensive to many escorts..

Honey, the Male species has always had to PROVE its self WORTHY to engage in the act of procreation, its how the female keeps the weak from procreating. So money for humans/ resources for animals. the women who require NOTHING for you to sleep with them, are the only women whom are losing. We should be called winners, nothing more nothing less.

You keep convincing yourself that while selling what little soul you still have.
One day you’ll realize exactly what the world thought of you was correct.
No skin off my back, you’re the one that will have to live with the things you have done.
But make no mistake, one day you will not think so highly of yourself.
And you will definitely not consider yourself a winner.
There are many homeless women who would rather live under freeway bridges than lower themselves to that level.
Personally I would consider them more of a winner
What real achievement is it to sell your body to strangers? Did it require a PhD?
Nope, it was simply your only idea.

Honey, when a woman gets old and realizes, she paid 50/50 all her life, and her husband took that money he saved from her paying half the rent to spend on a woman half her age, the only person who has regrets is her. I have lived and will continue a wonderful stress free life. Soon to marry my rich husband, and have the ultimate ONE client,HAHAHAHAHA. Spending my days at the spa, shopping and on lavish vacations with my rich hubby and fellow house wives.

Remember there are 36 million Millionaires on this planet, and they 90% MEN. So sorry you did not make it to be one. But i WILL be marrying one! and thus will be one as well. HAHAHA

THAT's what a Career companion gets you.

Like Nicole mentioned - it is all about the context. It's a word. When used lovingly, it's not offensive. When used in a derogatory manner, it is.

All the words are the same no matter how fancy they are.

I do HATE hobbyist and provider for the exact reasons other people have mentioned. I always think "Hobby Lobby."

You sound more like a pet than a woman.
And how smart is it to marry a guy that fucks prostitutes, and has the cash to do so at will? Yeah that’s gonna work out.
The more you talk, the sadder you seem.
Your big goal in life was to latch on to a guy with money and sponge off him while he fucks other prostitutes?
Ok whatever lol
Guess that’s what you do when you have no other ideas.
Vapid comes to mind.

99.9 % of providers are smart enough to know Pretty Woman was a bullshit movie.

Let's be sure to choose our words carefully. This is actually a very interesting topic and I want to keep it going without insults.

I do have to agree that marrying a guy that sees escorts might not end well. But it isn't impossible to have a literal and figurative Happy Ending. On one side, most of these guys do respect "hookers" and aren't judgmental about it. One the other side, most mistresses who get married to their lovers end up getting cheated on.

What I have seen more is an escort using this profession to better herself both physically and mentally. They use their money to go to school, invest in real estate, etc. THEN, they have truly upped their game and bring something to the table as an equal. THAT is what many wealthy and successful men prefer.

I think you're sad you missed your chance to be one of the 36 million millionaires in the world, and now you're too old to turn gay and marry one.

After all you are fucking prostitutes and your wife is probably STILL paying half the bills. Your ifestyle is dependent on your wifes income. without her, you are nothing.

Alec and Jocelyn Wildenstein: €2 billion
In 1999 the French businessman, art dealer and racehorse owner Alec Wildenstein agreed to a settlement of more than €2 billion in his divorce from his wife, Jocelyn Wildenstein, a New York socialite. The Telegraph reported that she had spent more than €2 million on plastic surgery to make her husband more interested in her, but he “screamed in horror when he first saw her new face”. It added that she declared during their negotiations that she needed $1 million a month to run her household, “as years of dependence on servants had left her with no idea of how to light a stove, make toast or boil an egg”.

Rupert and Anna Murdoch: €1.5 billion
The media magnate Rupert Murdoch came to an expensive divorce agreement with his first wife, Anna Torv, after 32 years together. In 1999 he is said to have agreed to give her about €1.5 billion. Time magazine reported that he signed a prenuptial agreement with his next wife, Wendi Deng, whom he married just 17 days after his divorce from Torv became final. It meant that when Murdoch and Deng divorced, 14 years later, she received “several luxurious homes” but “wouldn’t get quite the payoff of her predecessor”.

Bernie and Slavica Ecclestone: €1 billion
The Formula 1 tycoon Bernie Ecclestone and his wife Slavica – 28 years younger and almost a foot taller – had a family fortune estimated at more than €2.5 billion when they filed for divorce, in 2008. Slavica reportedly received half of it – but by 2014 her trust fund turned out to have paid her ex-husband more than €300 million. Time attributed the unusual scheme, which used money from an offshore account, to an agreement they made more than a decade before they divorced.

Steve and Elaine Wynn: €870 million
The casino magnates Steve and Elaine Wynn are unusual in having married and divorced not once but twice: they ended their marriages the first time in 1986 and the second in 2010, at a reputed cost of $1 billion. The precise terms have been kept private, but, after their second split, Steve Wynn agreed with an interviewer that it was one of the most expensive divorces of all time. – Guardian, agencies
