Finally speaking up for myself

I think we can all agree that there has been a lot of talk of management around here in the last few months. A lot of people making assumptions and making harsh judgements.... I’ve kept completely out of the mix and stayed silent because for some of us it goes a lot deeper than simply who is managed and who is not. I’ve been a member here for almost 2 years and it was a manager who created my account, I’d never even heard of this site. There’s no handbook on how to become a provider, someone has to teach you. Along with that comes a sense of dependence on that person. Who is going to keep you safe? Who is going to make sure that things are consistent? Who is going to be there if some thing goes wrong?... this is the mind game of management. It’s not easy to build the courage to try to break away and figure out how to manage on your own but it’s some thing that I’ve desired and attempted to do for a very long time. So this is me finally being able to speak up for myself. I am INDEPENDENT!
And for the wonderful gentleman on here that have encouraged me and supported me breaking away, thank you so much for validating that I can do this on my own! I can’t ever thank you enough.

Congratulations on breaking away! There is no reason someone as capable and intelligent as you needs anyone running anything for them, and I hope more ladies follow your example.

Thanks Spanky, I know last year I had confided to you how I was going through a very difficult situation. It’s been a process of trying to change all of my accounts security. For now I would solely message me here or on my new phone number! And I’ll be sure to update once I have twitter and SC account info changed or I may have to make new ones.
