Has anyone ever had a run in with a provider while not participating in the hobby? Facebook has that section where it recommends new friends based on how many mutual friends you have and your location. It recommended a provider who I had seen probably 2 or 3 years ago with no mutual friends. I of course clicked that I didn't know them, but was wondering if anyone else has ever had this.

Never had that happen before. I have ran into a provider I see regularly when I was at a DMV with my SO before.

I also ran into a provider while with my SO at the Mall months ago.

We had a good laugh when I saw her the next night when I went for a visit. Long story that turned out extremely well, LOL. I posted the story about it at another site, I may post it here too if you all want to read it.

I do not do social media like facebook, twitter or any of those though

I think this happens if you don't have separate emails or if you don't clear your cookies.
