I have several provider friends in Socal that want to join Eccie..

I know them personally I know they are indeed providers.

Is there anyway that they can pm me once they join to confirm that it is indeed them and then maybe have Admin approve them with provider status?

This would be better served being in the Questions for The Staff section but here is how you do what you are asking.

First go to your UserCP (link to that is found on the left side of the the browser window when you first login) and look for the section below Personal Notepad titled Invitation System. Next Click on the link titled Click here to invite new users which will bring you to another page where you can enter the people you have written you know email address as well as a message to them. Then you will get a notification of once they have joined the site and you can take it from there.
