What Aboutism, IBH. Not even close. This isn’t a comedy monologue and you’re not on stage. You’re on ... a hooker board! LOL!!

Simply, you got caught sourcing a blog that, at best, is posing as an official government agency and could be a front for God knows what, and now it appears to the casual observer that you’re trying to dodge, dip and deflect.

Don’t blame you.

It’s hard to tell what’s real anymore, I agree and share your frustration. I also am embarrassed when I get duped.

Why didn’t he cite that as his source then?

Apparently you clicked on the link and saw what I did. LOL!
It's trivially obvious that CIS cited the DOJ (in their footnotes) as their source in the article: "84 percent of aliens who were placed on supervised release or some other form of ATD (Alternative To Detention) fled..."

CIS isn't a "blog", and they have all the right detractors -- the lib-retard lame-stream media -- which means they're doing something right.

The Center for Immigration Studies is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research organization. Since our founding in 1985, we have pursued a single mission – providing immigration policymakers, the academic community, news media, and concerned citizens with reliable information about the social, economic, environmental, security, and fiscal consequences of legal and illegal immigration into the United States.

The Center is governed by a diverse board of directors that has included active and retired university professors, civil rights leaders, and former government officials. Our research and analysis has been funded by contributions and grants from dozens of private foundations, from the U.S. Census Bureau and Justice Department, and from hundreds of generous individual donors.

Our board, our staff, our researchers, and our contributor base are not predominantly "liberal" or predominantly "conservative." Instead, we believe in common that debates about immigration policy that are well-informed and grounded in objective data will lead to better immigration policies.

The data collected by the Center during the past quarter-century has led many of our researchers to conclude that current, high levels of immigration are making it harder to achieve such important national objectives as better public schools, a cleaner environment, homeland security, and a living wage for every native-born and immigrant worker. These data may support criticism of US immigration policies, but they do not justify ill feelings toward our immigrant community. In fact, many of us at the Center are animated by a "low-immigration, pro-immigrant" vision of an America that admits fewer immigrants but affords a warmer welcome for those who are admitted.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cent...ration_Studies

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is a non-partisan,[3] non-profit organization and think tank[4] "that favors far lower immigration numbers and produces research to further those views."[5]

Founded in 1985 as a spin-off from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR),[6] the center's self-described mission is to provide immigration policymakers, the academic community, news media, and concerned citizens with reliable information about the social, economic, environmental, security, and fiscal consequences of legal and illegal immigration into the United States.[7] CIS is one of a number of anti-immigration organizations that John Tanton helped found.[6][8][9]

Reports published by CIS have been disputed by scholars on immigration, fact-checkers such as PolitiFact, FactCheck.Org, Washington Post, Snopes, CNN and NBC News, and immigration-research organizations. The organization has been cited by President Donald Trump on Twitter, and used by members of his administration.[10][11][12]

Critics have accused CIS of promoting and having ties to nativists, which CIS denies.
And they’re in league with Trump.

Major surprise!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Wiki isn't a respected source for any substantive argument, but it is evident that CIS has been around for over three decades gathering facts on and reporting about illegal immigration whereas Trump has only been in office for less than two years.
