vm......why come on a site like this with a bug bite?
Then post your bug bite problem in Co-Ed knowing full well your problem has nothing to do with the hobby.
Then the mods have to move it to the litter box.
You know better.
Common sense says if you have a serious problem.... seek medical attention.
I think "attention" is the keyword here.

You got me there, The difference is I don't start threads for attention.
While you seem to be pretty good at reading numbers....try comparing your number of threads to mine. I'm on here a lot so I post a lot....but I start few threads. Lately I have started more than I normally do but they were in an effort to kick-start Co-Ed and get the ladies back.
They weren't about bug bites and how car manufacturers get the cars off of trailers.
I would like to think were are a little different.

Back on topic....I'm still interested in why you would choose to start a bug bite thread. Are you ok? Did you get some helpful information?I know a couple very good skin doctors if you need one. Hit me up if I can help

Tebow! Here's the best SHMB advice I can give other than what you've already ignored.
If you ain't gonna get medical attention go git yerself some drawing salve and aspirin. It's be better in a week or you'll be dead by then.

Okay. My fam member would boil salt water.. apply it as hot as I could stand. Bamb! It was over after a squeeze.

Hope you're alright, I've only gotten a mosquito bite so I'd probably lose it if a spider bit me

You should see a physician so he/she can exam the area in question. Tick bites can lead to Lyme Dz. It also could be MRSA. Just don't want to take any chances with your health.

You almost always need the insect that you think bit you to specifically identify a bit. People who work in public health know this stuff much better than your every day physician.

A physician may be able to diagnose the result of an insect bite, but that means the allergic response or the symptoms from the bite has already started. If the tick is still in you, they will know it is a tick but there are many different ticks in Texas and the US, so getting the actual tick and specific response is more difficult. Same for mosquitoes. Different species vector different diseases.
