Default Help with basic tax

Prep. I’ve always had it done for free but the organization is overwhelmed and is no longer taking people to help. Use past I would’ve done it myself it was pretty straightforward but 2020 all the new rules and Covid etc. I don’t trust myself to try to do it. I don’t understand this new thing saying you can use your 2019 return if you made more money in 2019. And this Will help a lot as far as getting a larger refund I don’t even know if that’s true too much information I just want one person who is a tax preparer or a CPA or an accountant thanks

You can only get a refund base on what you paid in Or earn credits, having a higher income.

Do your research before hiring just any CPA. And make sure to have at least one DBA. Always file using a DBA and use a CPA. Don't cut corners.

Good Luck and Happy Hobbying!

TaxCut and TurboTax are both good, fairly cheap pieces of software for this. Unless you’ve got complicated deductions and depreciation schedules, they’re plenty good enough for a small contractor.

I just have a lot of questions and it’s very stressful and I’d rather just hand it to somebody and say do it

If your earned income and child tax credits calculate higher, based on using your 2019 income instead of your lower 2020 income, you can use 2019's income flr that calculafion.

Few will benefit. Your income must have dropped significantly, and unemp!oyment benefits work against you. It can be very valuable for the few that do benefit.

I'm a tax preparer with 10 years of experience in Income Tax, Payroll Tax, Sales Tax, etc. Send me a private msg if you still need help, and we'll connect.

Why not just post here, instead of this mercantilistic angle?

People love to help with basic info all the time online. Reddit is a very good place and some people often will give you 500-1000+ words of info if you give them enough info about your situation.

Can't really do that with pussy.

Now doing somebodies taxes is different.

I wasn't being "mercantilistic" at all. In fact, I 've offered to help out free of charge. My request for a PM was to discuss in detail her situation privately. I'm quite sure Suzanna didn't want to discuss her financial dealings in this thread for the whole world to see. Thanks for making a judgement about me without knowing all details, Buck Dharma.

Getting them done is not help on board and free tax advice which all for it having someone do it for you. For tax unpeafull protest.
