Second that. Appreciate the heads up, was considering visiting one, opted with AZ Cherry. Been meaning to see her again. Hopefully more info comes out, to better understand what exactly is happening out there.

It was inevitable -- there are WAY too many AMPs for LE to continue to ignore them. NM law may protect the inside of the spa, but this is likely just the first of many episodes like Titman's. Sorry that happened to you, Dude...but I will not be surprised if there is more to follow.

Possibly part of the federal response I think they were calling it operation legend?

Lastly, it is very curious unto me that they who pulled the op over would announce to ANYONE the fact that they were conducting an undercover operation. Not SOP for any agency. I do not think an agency would announce an "investigation" to any citizen due to the fact any particular citizen could alert the owner of an establishment. Lastly, had they who pulled you over asked to see your identification? Is it possible that a competing establishment was behind this to discourage business at this location.

Theres more to this story than meets the eye. Non of our business, the warning is well heeded.
BUT, the SOP in this contact is entirely implausible, improbable, and highly illegal as described.
I hope that it is to muddy the waters of real fact in the interest of self preservation.
Thanks for the heads up

Speculation being what it is, I was in fact pulled over by police shown identification and told I had committed a traffic infraction. Questions about my whereabouts and interest in "that kind of place". Given a warning after some questioning and allowed to leave. I'm a long time poster on this site. Not a troll or flamer.... This is a legit experience.

take it easy, Titman
nobody cast doubt on the veracity of your report
it just brings a lot of questions
I’m guessing it must have been a pretty unsettling experience
invasive, threatening, even traumatic
I think it would be, for me
if you can, when you can, tell us some more details. such as...
3 unmarked cars. did they all swoop at once? dashtop flashing lights?
did they ID what org? show any badges? did you see any uniforms?
how many were there? all men?
what time of day or night did it happen?
what, exactly, was the warning they gave?
these are just a few of the questions that come up, for me
I’m guessing others have more
as EOD pointed out, some of this may be none of our business, but...
any other details you can recall & relate could be helpful
in assessing this development

Titman...
EOD’s acronym SOP - I took to mean Standard Operating Procedure
theirs, not yours

Your credibility was not being question, just the story as presented, and the obvious reasons for doing so. The traffic infraction was the detail That explains the rest.
Glad you came out unscathed.
Its hard to share a warning without details that expose you, but a few are always necessary for credibility.
...as I said before, well heeded warning, and thanks.
