I doubt that this is the case for you, but there's an app out there called Caller ID Faker or something like that. It's a free app that will put whatever number you want to come up on the other's phone. You simply enter it in and make the call and that number will come up onthier phone. The catch with the free app is that you have to listen to a commercial and I think the call is limited to 2 mintues. I think you can pay for the app to eliminate the commercials and time limit.

Mr. Number is a free ap for android users. If anyone calls you that you do not want to be bothered with you simply add the number to your "block caller" list. You can set the call to go directly to voicemail...or you can set your phone to hang up on them as soon as they call you.

I got the 000-000-0000 again this morning. This time I picked up. The person on the other line sounded foreign and like he was in a call center. I could have sworn he said something about from the military. Said he was looking for someone other than me. I told him he had the wrong number. He said okay and hung up.

000-000-0000 is a common error with a large network of phones connected using VOIP. Very commonly used by telemarketers as they can use the excuse of misconfigured equipment to violate the national do not call list. Anyone using VOIP can make this happen with a little knowledge.

I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
