I am not sure why a provider would come on here and claim a period of time was awesome because of the heroin. Perhaps Condom use increased in the 90s over the 60s. Teenage Pregnancies were on the increase as were HIV/AIDs concerns. Considering moving to Portland where over 10% of addicts in treatment are there for Heroin use, which has been on the increase, would make sense for someone that finds that attractive I guess.

Seems like something a Provider would not want to embrace as a positive experience. Kind of self defeating in the overall sense of wanting guys to come see you I would think....

A positive for the guys is that Portland Provider rates seem to be closer to $200 than $300 an hour! Something is helping keep rates down out there!

Oh whispers. I was being really tongue in cheek. I in fact didn't use either one of those things in the nineties. The former because I had the same boyfriend for most of that decade and the latter because I absolutely hate needles and am a sceered of anything that addictive. It just seemed to be the signature drug of the nineties as cocaine was to the eighties. I was just kidding around; wasn't meant to be an endorsement. I'm glad you brought up though. I assumed everyone would know I was joking. Clearly not. Glad I got the chance to clear that up.

FWIW, I realized right off the bat that chelseabean wasn't serious. And, as Toyz is fond of pointing out, I frequently miss when commenters are being facetious. That said, I can see the underlying point Whispers, and others in other threads, have driven at recently, that this may not be the most prudent forum for discussing drugs even in jest.
