Ha I remember when 1RP first came on board. Everyone gave him grief over his name and thought he was a turd, but he was a great contributor to the P. and RatBoy's crazy avitar, that silly dancing Rat. Big Louie is the one who started the in depth reporting style of the reviews. It took off from there. Wayward had a way with the words and the women. EdHoutex probably 'bagged' more ladies than the rest of us (back then) combined. BL was always in the daily mix..

Cynan was the bomb! A couple of years ago I saw him IRL just out and about. It was a shame I couldn't say hi.
Ed Houtx left and came back briefly a few years ago.
Fun times, fun times.

I started reading this thread a few days ago and intended to chime in...but, distraction happened
Edhoutx is still around - he was one of my 'firsts' back when. I also miss Hoss and PopeJimmy (meow).
I went by a different name back then..._____ of Galveston before retiring and returning, in Austin, as Lana Monroe - then returning as Aphrodite.
Yes, those were fun times - an active community that included birthday parties, the luncheons and strip club parties. I still remember when Allison (friend of Amber's) started and was THE girl to see.
When I first started, as a provider, I was picking turnip leaves from my hair and Amber showed me the ropes. That was followed by much drama (not my thing) involving her mother, Jade and lots of petty jealousy, backstabbing, and threats - THAT is how I mostly remember ASPD. My respect for the 'powers that be' died a pretty quick death and I admit that I struggled w/ finding praises to sing at her passing. There was much that happened under the surface and many people were hurt by other's actions - yet, at the time...there were some great memories and moments.
One thing I am very grateful for re: ASPD is that some of my early clients (13-14 years ago) are still friends today and that made all the drama worth it.

Ah yes the early days would have made any of todays' reality shows appear pretty tame.
( wondering why your name is filtered out or was that on purpose)
I was best friends with Amanda Witherspoon at the time and there was a perpetual fued between her and Amber which was really silly because they had NEVER even met each other!!! I'm not even kidding.

Roberta! I do remember you and Amanda. Yes, the Amber/Amanda feud could leave one scorched from ten feet away
I was more of a BBW then (70lb weight loss took care of that) so my clientele was limited - but, I loved the experiences and wouldn't trade that time for anything.
I remember Billy and Beth before Wildflowers and Edhoutx DID pay me w/ a check once...but, it DID NOT bounce I saw him this past Fall, while visiting Houston, and it was just like old times.
My name (blocked by me) was *ana of Galveston.

I remember Allison and regretted her retirement. We had a 4 x 4 party one time and it was awesome!

Finally someone telling a tad of the real back story.
ASPD's (and the so called glory days) demise reinforces the simple truth of : ''Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.''
While I liked many of the players/posters back in the day, I have never before or since met so many people so oblivious to LE.
