Why would sucking FORCE Nutting to sell? He doesn’t give a flying fuck what the team’s record is. Between TV money and revenue sharing he makes a guaranteed profit. Any ticket and merchandise sales are just gravy. He is not interested in anything but profit, and he will continue to make that profit for as long as he owns the team, which very likely will be the remainder of his natural lifespan.

Go to games or don’t - your choice. Watch games or not - again your choice. He simply doesn’t care about fans or winning baseball. The economics of owning the Pirates are in his favor,

There’s actually been reports that say he’s losing money on operations. Who knows. He’s never opened his books. But one things for sure, he’s made 1.2 billion on the value of the Franchise. The rest is small potatoes.

I doubt he’ll be on the team plane coming back from the West Coast. They might not win a game. But he’s the least culpable in this fiasco. 6 years into the rebuild and this is the lineup that Cherrington and Nutting dumped on Shelton.
