Rodgers was on McAfee today. Said he has personnel issues going on in his life and isn’t ready to make a decision but retirement is an option. But thought Tomlin was a great person. So there you have it.

I've thought about this and why don't they let Watt play out his final year and then franchise him if they want to keep him?
Sitting out would get him nothing but another year older.

I doubt they’ll do that. It makes sense, but they don’t want to have a pissed of TJ. I can’t figure out why Watt wouldn’t want to go to a SB contender at his age. His brother moved on from Houston.

Don’t kid yourself, he will leave in a heartbeat if he doesn’t get the richest D contract in history, Tomlin will demand they sign him and whatever else helps to get to 9 wins despite what it does to the future of the organization. These pansy asses like the article I saw on post gazette stating Rodgers is still a hall of fame qb and a huge upgrade over anyone else? They must of had their heads far up tomlins ass during the jets/steelers game last year, he didn’t even look like a NFL qb in that game, he arguably had one of the top wr duos w Adams and Wilson to work with plus a TE who’s out received friermueth consistently plus arguably a top 2 rec rb in hall, despite all that O talent he was an outright bum who’s QBR was below Wilson’s. Anyone thinking getting a year older in their 40’s can surely improve play and have career year again is an idiot w their head up tomlins ass. Journalist? It’s really not what you know, it’s who you blow

I don't believe they will either. They worry too much about how a player feels instead of what's best for the team.
To most players it's strictly about the $. JJ didn't leave for a chance at a SB, he went where he got the most $.

They didn’t offer Troy or Ward new deals. They chose to retire. TJ isn’t ready to retire. They should have extended him last year if they wanted to keep him. Now it’s a lot more expensive. So, it comes down to if they’re willing to pay him 40 mill a year.

Steelers pass on a QB. Pick Derrick Harmon. Big DT from Oregon.

My thought, with the mediocrity, they will draft quick, rather than deep.
For some reason, I can see Tomlin drafting Sanders, if he's available, and that IS a possible scenario.

They made the right pick in my opinion.
I think Sanders is comparable to Pickett.
I would love it if the Steelers could trade Pickens for a 2nd rounder and then use that pick for a WR.
Then draft QB and RB in 3rd and 4th rounds. After that maybe another DL, CB, or Safety.

Derrick Harmon’s mother died shortly after he was selected. She’s had health problems for years. He used his NIL money to buy her a wheelchair Van.
