For those of you who aren't too smart, here's an easy to follow explanation.

I'm a fan of the New York Giants. I love the fucking Giants, and have loved them for essentially my entire consciously-aware existence.

A lot of the time, being a fan of the Giants has been a rewarding experience. 5 Super Bowl appearances and 4 Super Bowl victories since the magical 1986 season. Excellent.

Lately, the Giants have been playing like shit. Zero playoff appearances since the delightful SB 46 win.

When the Giants suck, and their players are inept, and when management makes pitiful personnel decisions, I still love them.

I don't hate the Giants, I hate that they have become a mockery of themselves, and I won't make excuses for their ineptitude.

Same thing goes for hooks.

I don't hate hooks.

But I will not support morbidly overweight, unsatisfactory caricatures of hooks, which is essentially what we're stuck with, particularly in my local area.

And that's the way it is.
