I don't take money from friends but I just took a buck to transfer it to his name... I don't even need the money. I'm just sick of looking at that gun safe full of rifles that I never even touch. I'll keep the most expensive one though.

My buddy in LA fucked with me when he was at my house about a year ago and asked me why the fuck I live in Dallas. His exact words were, "shouldn't you live at Ruby Ridge and not in a city. What the fuck do you plan on doing with all of these rifles?" I thought that was pretty funny.
Like I said, when I started making real money I started to collect them because my stupid ass liked a movie when I was a child and thought they were cool.
I blame Danny Glover for his pinpoint accuracy with his Henry rifles in that fucking movie. I also blame Chuck Connors for why I have so many rifles. What can I say? I was a really impressionable kid. LOL

That's just sad. If you wanted a Rifleman carbine you could of just got it. http://basspro.com/shop/en/wincheste...-carbine-rifle A more authentic model would cost you 3x more if you can find it.
I ask my wife why have 6-10 of the same gun? 5 9mms? One for carry, bed side, it just gets into a management issue. Sell or give some away. Also, if you have the money buy WHAT YOU WANT. She spent $240 at Walmart, got the wrong gun and could of had the right gun for $20 more. But she wanted to "prove that she could buy a gun." "No problem," she said,"I'll just take it back." Total fail.
So how many Henry rifles do you have? I can see a .22 for a heritage rifle and 30-30 but at some point its a fixation.

Yeah I fuck with people when I feel like it. They care. I don't. As I've said before, if an anonymous fucker like me on a whore board gets to you, you have a lot bigger problems and issues to deal with in life than me. I could give a fuck what anyone says to me on this board. I'll never RTM anything so have a blast insulting me if you want to do so.
Gnadfly, I have over 30 guns (about 10 Henrys), but all of those weapons are not all mine but they are. I have a friend who owes me money and he gave me his guns as collateral. He'll never pay me back so technically I just count them as mine.
Anyway, back to the topic because I feel sorry for these cops because they are viewed as the bad guys now. My dad's best friend was an LA homicide detective for decades. I emailed him to see how he was doing and he pretty much just said he was glad that he is retired now and doesn't have to deal with this shit. He's always been an extremely nice man with a positive outlook so I was a bit surprised by his response. He's a very religious man so I expected to receive something positive from the bible from him.

Did you want someone to ask you what he thought about current events?
Or did you just want everyone to know your "dad" had a best friend who was a cop?

different lens, I guess
Guess I look at guns differently and am not hoarder. I'm more of a form follows function type and prefer the right thing for the right occasion. Ya gots your 'reach out and touch someone far away' ones, your easy to conceal ones, your back-up ones, your dance party ones, your basic crowd reducers, aka street sweepers and your tack/nail drivers. Of course, hearing protection devices installed on select ones and the right optics for the occasion - day or night.

Three rules of survival - Focus, focus, focus. In that order ;-)

Homeland Security needs to hire that officer for his mental telepathy capabilities, since he will be fired.

Nope. I doubt the officers even had a clue about it. Likely only saw him as someone invading their space while they were focused on their destination. Though if you want a Pro Tip: Don't invade an officer's space or go for their belt/holster. You can ask Mike Brown about that I s'pose.
Look for the slow-mo vid of the old guy. Point is, Antifa and Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are using advanced military tactics and methods in a loosely assembled hive collective. They are very dangerous and exploiting an opportunity to destabilize everything. You think they give a rat's pah-toot about BLM? For the most part, they are a bunch of young, coddled, sheltered white kid, anarchists in their early 20s.
IMHO - the cops charged would be wise to get a warrant to seize the phone and computer from that old white guy. They already have his social media history. Pro Tip: If you feel sorry for the old guy, then I feel sorry for you not paying attention to what is actually going on around you. Hint - it's getting pretty chippy out there.

I watched the clip ... several times. I even posted a frame. He clearly has an electronic instrument in his hand .... he was NOT REACHING for the officer's weapon.
You're a "pro" at what? Mind-reading what the officer in the clip was THINKING? IMO: He wasn't.
It is the officer's responsibility to himself and to citizens to maintain distance around his person ... and assure the citizen is not entering the "zone" around the officer. And that effort or assurance doesn't mean knocking an old man down ... without the officer making any effort to create a safe distance from the citizen.....and that included the entire line of officers.
You "assume" that citizens know about "officer safety"!

Or did he just want to deflect and change the subject because he was taking a beating like Rodney King?

Keith Ellison says he doesn't want police officers showing up at scenes of domestic abuse, the call that many cops are injured at.
300 million guns in America and Ellison wants to limit when a cop may carry a gun to a reported incident of violence. Just the man we need heading law enforcement, not!

The subject seems to always be about him. So not much change.
