And yet Ford is doing exactly the same thing and doing well.

They increased prices across the board, and cant produce enough Hybrids even in Mexico.

Their Model T, Ecar truck platform is in 2026, at 30k, with no tax relief.

You have to innovate, and simplify production and assembly.

Great job, tariffman. You stupid, fat fuck.

So, got a list of what you have ordered from the EU lately?

Really, chronicle how this affects you?

My last and only order from Europe was to get a matching French Army Goretex camo lower for the upper layer I got here, great product, but it does make you throw your gun down, and immediately surrender.

And once our company worked for a week at the Buffalo post office hub, the carts of incoming international mail, sat for the entire time we were there.

Such a hardship.

Hey Buddy, Canada is dropping most of its retaliatory tariffs.

That's called winning eh?
No, you'll want to see how that big tariff lawsuit plays out first. I'd rate it as too early to call.

Also, that's not a lot of tariffs to come off. Mostly symbolic, so don't throw a party yet.

Most of tsriffs and duties are already set by the USMCA and those pretty much remain, plus the additional tariffs on steel, aluminum and autos remain. The Buy Canadian boycott remains. Our booze still isn't on their shelves like it was. And they're still not spending their tourist dollars here.

So... yay?

If you traveled more, you'd understand. But obviously, you don't leave your hometown too often.

And knock it off with the anecdotes. Millions of Americans order millions of things to be shipped here by the EU. This has nothing to do with you or me anecdotally. This is just another way trump is fucking this country to hell and back.

An excellent read for you, Salty. Since you ignore TACO and don't seem to recognize the consequences play out over time, maybe you'll want to look at the other big reason the markets aren't focusing much on Trump's words.

The lawsuits

https://newrepublic.com/article/1991...ariff-lawsuits

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/07/31/trum...t-hearing.html

Also odd to see you so giddy on a massive tax increase for Americans.

Even america's department store- WalMart has declared that prices are on the rise- and not just a little bit. Imagine if you can, ( not just worrying about yourselves) where those who live paycheck to paycheck and have a walmart charge card- they run that sucker to the max, and only paydown on the balance to buy next weeks goods. That's a giant kick in the teeth to these folks. They are not sophisticated ppl, and they don't understand anything about tariffs or why the shitty camo gear they bought that was made in china, now costs 20% more. They just buy it.

They lose,

American's lose,

Walmart loses

Mainstreet america loses- because if all the money is spent at one place who imports goods and passes along those tariffs, that means the total dollars available for spending on other things like domestic stores, pizza shops, fishing, hunting, or other outings, have LESS dollars available to spend. Let alone the tightening of economic belts in everyday homes when the see the bottom line getting closer that it's ever been at the end of the month.

You RedHats are VERY OBTUSE to how this impacts the average family-.....and the politics of supporting an idiot who started these financial wars within every country including the ones that only have penguins is a joke.

Tell us what this administration is going to do with the tariffs coming in? I've heard all sorts of bullshit- from paying down the debt- to a "rebate", lol....c'mon man. The only thing that Trump hasn't figured out is with the sudden dump of money into the US, is how he can get his hand into the pie. Maybe it's to pay for his shitty 200mm dollar bordello dance hall, all guilded in gaudy fucking gold leaf. Or the son's need money to run the Executive Branch club??? Imagine if you would-Hunter having a club that was so brazenly out in the open to get to Joe or others? Imagine owning a hotel- and making the secret service use it so you could line your pockets with America's dollars at the benefit of the POTUS exclusively? Imagine- all the trips to the golf courses you also own, and the same fucking thing happening. It's like a dream come true- and all on the publics dime. Kleptocracy indeed.

I've worked with many people who made more money than me and still lived paycheck to paycheck. These people refused to put money in company retirement plans, not even to get the company match. They also went on several family vacations a year and purchased new cars every few years regardless of how upside down they were on them.

I retired early and they're still working.

It's about the choices you make in life most of the time.
