I have a real hard time sympathizing with somebody with a track record like WP. And calling for a cease fire on a thread started by an alternate handle following a legitimate ban is just silly, imho. Stray that far outside the rules, and it's pretty much "game on," especially when that person has made several bullshit blacklist reports and has already stated her intention to continue creating alternate handles to circumvent the rules around here. The person starting that kind of fight doesn't get to say when the fight is over. Under those circumstances, it's over when the offended parties (which consist of just about everybody on this board in this case) say it's over.

For the record, EN, I don't think she has said she wants the fight to be over. That request has come from several others. I'm pretty sure she wants it to continue.

I confess, the extent of her offenses on this board is so great that I have no compassion for her. Not within the walls of this community, anyway.

But let's not overstate what's going on here. It's not cruel and unusual punishment, and it's not a death sentence. In fact, it doesn't even come close to approximating the "crimes" she committed on others through her blacklist reports. The people on this thread would have to up their games SIGNIFICANTLY to equal that. So, as far as I'm concerned, this is just a nice little walk in the park for her. If anything, she's getting off "light."
