you forgot the rest of the post. Akin to how Biden forgot what he had for dinner 2 mins ago.

.
The president has very little to do with gas prices, Trump is the one claiming too

If he is going to reach out to the proper channels and try to lower them more power to him it's a lot more than others have done. It's the constant gouging by companies/gas stations that is irritating. When you see gas for $3.29 at one spot and $3.59 across the street why anyone would pay the extra 30 cents is beyond me.

It's not the oil companies, Trump pissed off Canada, they supplied 60% of our oil, they told him to fuck off, and he knows he fucked up there! Notice we haven't been hearing any of those Canada gonna be the 51st state shit lately have you?
He's gonna try to walk that shit back but I don't think they are gonna have any of it! !
Yes the stable genius!

That figure is not 60% of our oil consumption, thats 60% of what we import
60% of our actual consumption comes from our own oil fields, we now import 40% of our oil from various countries.

And Canada also said that they are going to keep thier tariffs in place no matter what trump dose or says until 2028! 60% from Canada and 7% from Mexico. I just checked on Google. Not to mention the Canadian crude is special thicker oil than the oil from our Texas oil fields. Much easier to refine or something, and better for our refineries, our is not as good!
He's a genius!

Actually have that backwards, west Texas is a lighter crude that’s much easier to refine than the Canada sour crude. That’s why there’s always a fairly big discounted price on the Canadian crude, it’s more costly to refine

Ijust Google it, and Google included that nugget of info in the answer and that's not the first time I heard that the Canadian is better for refining. You can ask Google the question yourself.

I said, canada supplies 60% of what we IMPORT, its not 60% of what we use
60% of our total useage is from right here in the usa.
I thought i made that clear but i guess not
carry on..........
oh, ask yourself this question.... why does a country (us) import so much oil but we export one hell of a lot of our own???/
think about it.....

Its because we have multiple refineries setup to process specific types of crude, in places with convenient port access to load that crude onto ships that aren't ours.

Means and answer. You'll connect the dots on the mix of what goes where.
But I do recommend sticking to gas prices
