The judge is not on the ball. He has not yet read the motion for a mistrial and now the jury said they want to watch some video - and if it is this one that is tainted, it will be a huge clusterfuck

Rittenhouse is going to get fucked. Any reasonable person can see what happened, yet the jury has been in there forever, which tells me they’re unreasonable. I predict he gets convinced on at least one murder charge. Next time you’re forced to take down one of these morons, empty as much ammo into his friends as you’ve got because you’re going to get convicted regardless of the situation. Might as well do as much as possible to rescue humanity while you’re at it.

The prosecution withheld evidence, and it seems clear they did it on purpose.
This trial should be over, mistrial with prejudice, and the prosecutor sanctioned and investigated.

Why do I think I see the same old pattern with you again. In other words, if any body you want to do anything is losing the other guy or guys have cheated and that is why your guy will or has lost. WOW. Can't you ever tell the truth and take it on the chin like a real man.
Wait and see what happens your guy may win yet and even though you wouldn't take back your statements you won't look like an ass for your guy doing what you wanted in the first place.
Trump lost, they cheated. Virginia Governor wins, well they didn't cheat this time but.
Don't you ever get tired of embarrassing yourself.

From an IT guy with 25 years experience:
Quote:
For those who are not privy to how files work (like the judge), I'll break it down.
The defense has just discovered that the video they were provided by the prosecution has a different file name and, more importantly, a different file SIZE and CREATION DATE.
The prosecution claims the video file they provided to the defense was forensically the same file as the one they used as evidence. They said they don't know how the file name and size changed. They say it may have changed during the transfer between the devices. WRONG!
It is impossible for this to be the case. First of all, the filename would not have changed during a copy of the file. The only reason a filename would be change during a copy is if you created a copy in the same location that the original exists. In this case, the new file would have the same name as the original with "(1)" or "copy" added to the end (this depends on the operating system being used to copy the file). It is absolutely impossible for a file to be copied and have a different filename without direct, intentional human interaction. Especially if it is changed to a name as specific as "IMG08.mov" (or whatever). Keep in mind that this would not change the file size.
Regarding the file size. It is impossible for a file that was copied and not modified to have a different file size. The original was 11MB, the "copy" was 4MB. The only way for this to happen is, again, direct human interaction. The only possible scenario is that a person used a program (there are very many) to compress the quality of the video. Compression means that the quality of the video is being reduced in order to make the file size smaller. By doing so the video will typically become more pixelated, grainy, less defined, etc... especially when the file size is reduced by an amount this large. We're talking a 36% compression rate here.
On the creation date. The fact that the creation date of the "copy" was about 20 minutes after the original shows that there was an amount of time between the creation of the 2 files to allow for editing. Not only that, if the "copy" was an actual copy of the original, the date and time it was copied would in the metadata ALONG WITH the ORIGINAL creation date and time. The fact that the creation date was different alone is rock solid proof that it was not a copy of the original.
Finally the aspect ratio of the video was different. Aspect ratio is the height and width of the video itself. This was different in the "copy". Impossible without direct human manipulation.
Both prosecutors should be disbarred for trying to pull this bullshit.
TL;DR: The prosecutors are faggots and got caught fucking around with the video files. Any IT expert would be able to prove it.

Are you really this stupid?
No one disputes that the prosecution gave the defense a different (lower quality) version of the video they entered into evidence. A video they never disclosed to the defense until the trial was underway. Even the prosecution doesn't dispute they provided a lower quality version to the defense. Under basic discovery rules, the defense is entitled to the exact same evidence the prosecution has
The prosecution withheld evidence. That is clear to anyone who is not a moron. One could debate whether they did so intentionally or out of pure incompetence. But they should not get a pass for either case. That is the way the law works and why a mistrial should be granted.
IMO given the prosecutions other egregious actions in the case for which the judge blasted them, this seems to be a pattern of prosecutorial abuse - hence why it should be a mistrial WITH prejudice.
I am sure you don't understand any of that and will ramble on mindlessly but maybe try educating yourself for a change before embarrassing yourself yet again

I always like to see what other people think when it comes to events like this. I went on Linkedin where I am connected with some pretty well known Pittsburgh businessmen as well as businessmen across the world. The majority believe Kyle should be free. I also believe Kyle should be free. The government knows they will never be able to take guns from the people as it violates the second amendment. So what will they do? They will make it so that we cannot defend ourselves with guns unless we want to serve time. Otherwise there is no fucking way this trial would still be going on. It is clear to Ray Charles and Helen Keller that this was self-defense.

.... THIS liberal government is on borrowed time.
The elections next year will send the lot out.
The Defence has MANY avenues of appeal here
IF the decision goes the wrong way.

Kenosha Police Dept - Last night a person who is alleging to be affiliated with a national media outlet was briefly taken into custody and issued several traffic related citations. Police suspect this person was trying to photograph jurors. This incident is being investigated much further.
Judge reports the guy claims was a MSNBC producer trying to expose the jury - a serious offense - MSNBC is now barred from the courtroom

Here's the facts: NBC News producer instructed James J. Morrison to follow the bus transporting the Kyle Rittenhouse jury. Jurors have expressed concerns over getting doxed and having their safety threatened. Morrison smashed through a red light to follow them.
NBC producer Irene Min Joo Byon has deleted her social media accounts. A journalist suspected of trying to photograph the jurors said Byon was his producer at MSNBC and instructed him to follow them.
MSNBC has been banned from the courthouse for the remainder of Rittenhouse trial.
MSNBC now publicly confirms that their employee was involved in following the bus of jurors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, “regrets the incident.”
Come on - the only thing MSNBC regrets is getting caught.

More potential grounds for a mistrial
Throughout the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, one of the alleged “victims” was known only as “jump kick man” and identified only by his action and his pants. It now turns out that the prosecutors knew not only who he was but where he was before the trial. The question is whether the defense was informed that “jump kick man” was actually Maurice Freeland, 39.
While the prosecutors would likely object, the defense could have sought to introduce Freeland’s record (particularly for any impeachment effort). He has a lengthy criminal history in Wisconsin, including charges for battery, disorderly conduct and driving while intoxicated this year. That means that all of the alleged victims had criminal records. In Freeland’s case, he has an open criminal complaint for domestic violence for an attack on his partner in a drunken rage, ultimately throwing her to the ground and kicking her in her ribcage before she managed to flee. He has various violent offenses in this record as well as escaping from custody and parole violations.
There is no confirmation whether this information was withheld from the defense. That would be a serious violation, if true. It would add to a lengthening list of blunders and alleged violations committed by the prosecution.
What is notable however is that the prosecution suggested that it was unaware of the identity and was speculating on his motivation in kicking Rittenhouse. It turns out that the prosecution spoke to Freeland since it is reported that prosecutors refused his offer to testify in exchange for an immunity deal.
