FDR's maxim was "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" Containing the damage wrought by Odumbo in Iran is far more important for our national interests than appeasing you sense of outrage over the death of a foreign, militant propagandists for Islam by a foreign government in a foreign land.
FWIW, Odumbo was proud of murdering a foreign, militant propagandists for Islam in a foreign land.
Since cheap gas -- courtesy of Saudi Arabia -- is such a good deal right now, I might go out this evening and buy another couple of gallons just to agitate the naysayers.

Who knew SaudiArabia controls the price of oil?
I sure thought I read that we just took over as the country producing the most oil....was I wrong IB?
Was I wrong about Boeing losing out on billions of dollars because Trump canceled the Iranian deal? And then exempted many countries from not buying Iranian oil.
Are you sure you want to continue to praise Trump and the Saudis?

Really...care to produce that post.
What I hope does not happen is that we wipe out all our reserves and then are back to really depending on the Saudis.
I have no idea why Trump and IB think we owe them all this praise.
If we are going to get friendly with a country with oil, it should be Iran. Much better society than Saudi Arabia.

Yes I'm aware of why Trump is kissing their ass....but our right wing friends seem to turn a blind eye.
Trump is just as bad as the Clintons with their shady foundation

What part of FDR's maxim, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", is so difficult to understand? The lower fuel cost is just lagniappe.

There's no "rethinking" necessary. You either use what you have or you weaken yourself and go without the assistance of others who have their own ax to grind with a common enemy: the second option is more costly in blood and treasure. Hence, FDR's maxim, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". And lower fuel cost is just lagniappe.

If we are producing more oil than any other country...please tell the oil producing states how those lower oil prices are such a good thing.
We created bin Laden because he was the enemy of our enemy , Russia.
Your black and white world is colliding with reality and reality is giving it a smackdown.

Your black and white world is colliding with reality and reality is giving it a smackdown. The reality is that militant Islam is the enemy, and Saudis are willing to help to prevent them acquiring nuclear weapons.
