We have steadily been bleeding manufacturing jobs-- including the loss of a couple of major plants, one of which Trump brushed off as "Not even a big deal". Except... to those who live here, its a very big deal.

Ohioans switch back and forth-- and one thing that never goes over well is when a President makes promises to curry the favor of the manufacturing rust state votes-- and then doesn't deliver. And right now-- that's where we sit. Many states can blame it all on COVID-- but Ohio was in trouble before the pandemic.

Now, you may sit back and say-- but Ohio is just one state. And you'd be correct-- but Ohio has been the swing state with the most statistical accuracy when it comes to predicting the winner. The last time Ohio got it wrong-- was Kennedy.
Sorry about GM's Cruze plant. If GM would design & build better vehicles (like Toyota), that plant would still be open.
Face it, the Chevy Cruze is a POS that's literally designed to break down, like any other GM.
GM's business model counts on 1/3 of their revenue coming from repairs.
It's telling that one of the longest lasting GM cars in the last 25 years was the Geo/Chevy Prizm. Why did it last so long? It's actually a Toyota Corolla.
Tell GM to step up their game. No US President can do that for them.

Tell me what Prez hasn't promised public works? I know of it going back to the WPA. And it's been on most every State of the Union I remember watching.

You consider that a threat?! Even if it registered as such to the Secret Service, than that is writing on the wall on how someone is running the country.

Did the Secret Service consider those people on the church property the same threat for a person holding up a book for the camera?

I’m sorry, sir. What book are you talking about? You don’t know my views on anything, because I haven’t expressed any beyond my disapproval of the tenor of Trump’s presidency, his divisive campaign and the stain it’s left on the fabric of our society.

I disagree with Yankees fans. Does that mean I think they’re racist? Sorry, man. Your point is moot.

He either needs Biden to do something majorly wrong or for Trump himself to do something majorly right to turn it around. The ball continues to roll downhill for Trump. His continuing quest to get Obamacare repealed with no replacement at all, which could negatively impact 23 million people, is his latest faux pas.

You have a point. I've seen the polls - not good. But when they tell you what the polls results are they never show you the questions that the pollsters ask. So it always makes me wonder - how is the question put forth to an individual. I mean like - - Do you believe that Biden would make a lot of progress in the next 4 years compared to the lack of progress that Trump made during his 4 years in office. That was just an example of how you can tilt questions to push a person toward an answer that is desired.

At this point, I'm still going with Trump. I think when Biden comes out with his agenda that alot of folks are going to say "whoa, wait a minute. This sounds like a socialist agenda" or something to that effect. And not vote for him. They will just stay home and not go to the voting booth. The lack of enthusiam for Biden should be ringing some alarm bells in the Democratic party. Trump has enthusiam big time and his supporters will show up to vote no matter what. I don't see the same for Biden.

I can't wait for the debates. That is going to be very, very interesting.

The polls do give the exact questions asked. In the following link, click on the pollster (e.g. click on "Morning Consult") and the questions asked will appear in most cases. You will see that, although questions can certianly be misleading, they are usually not. The majority of polling companies are legitimate and conduct their surveys with integrity.

Yes, Trump has very enthusiastic voters but he has increased enthusiasm among Democrats too. The 2018 midterm turnout was the highest since 1914 and you can thank Trump for that in my opinion. People swarmed the polls to vote against Trump, even though he wasn't on the ballot. I predict the same in 2020. People who don't like Trump, whether it be for his lack of character or his failed policies, will hit the polls hard on election day.

Yes the debates will be interesting. People like you will be waiting for a Biden gaffe. Meanwhile, Trump will have to defend many of his failures while in office and also defend his many mis-statements. I'm being kind by not calling them "lies".

Thank you for that post, Speedy.
For ellen to spout off how well the cheeto does in the polls and when the wind turns to imply they rig the questions....
Beautiful response.

Ellen is a hardcore Trump supporter who I'm sure thinks he is the greatest person to occupy the oval office. She has predicted a Trump landslide in 2020 from the day Trump was first elected in 2020. For me personally, it matters little who wins in 2020 since the policies of neither will likely impact me on a daily basis.

One of the main reasons I want Biden to win is because I find most Trump supporters to be obnoxiously overbearing in their support of Trump. Despicable character and very minor achievements in almost 3 1/2 years in office. And he puts the blame on everyone else but himself.

Very well stated SpeedRacer !!

Chump is done.People are tired of him and his shit. It's draining. He is a shit-starter.A chaos seeker.

And his supporters are the actual afflicted ones with TDS.They have to ascribe to so much conspiracy theory shit in order to be a continued supporter of him that it's ridiculous. They are the ones he speaks of that would still be with him if he went "to 5th Ave in NYC and shot some one"

After the election and Chump is voted out,all the Chumpettes can form an expedition to look for The Abominable Snowman or the LochNess Monster.
