Considering that this forum relies on basic spelling and grammar abilities in order for us to communicate, i'd rather they implemented a basic typing test before allowing entry before they contemplate sexual behavior.

Nope, not offended by much to be honest, least of all the improper use of contractions. I do get annoyed by people who can't be bothered to spell check when using a medium that relies on your writing abilities to communicate though. I'm failing to grasp why I would want to spend my time doing that? Just to reiterate the purpose of my original post. He suggested (with atrocious spelling) that people should have background checks before being allowed to use this forum. I suggested that being able to spell was a better criteria.
I applaud your efforts to defend his ignorance, but as has been said before. There are better things to discuss here than people who are too lazy to use a spell check.
