It is amazing what honesty and trust can overcome. In this case, there was a lie from the start. As such, I believe it is set to crash and burn. However, if a woman is upfront (once you become serious), I know for a fact it can work out.
However, for it to work out, ego needs to be put aside, communication must be strong, and you have to really trust on another. In my case, once we were serious, she quit the business. She then told me that I could continue if I wanted. Out of respect for her and our relationship, I quit as well.
While it did not end the way I would have wanted,we had a wonderful time together. We never through the past into each others face and had many happy times.
I guess it depends how strong you are and how much you want it.
Although in this case, the lies would have made me pull the plug as well.
