I'll admit to something here: It is not unusual for me to send out a "feeler" PM to a gal I see online and whom I am interested in meeting without first checking into her stated availability. My experience is most providers don't do a good job keeping their profiles up to date, and I have had some success seeing gals outside the parameters outlined in their profiles (ie, notice, screening requirements, etc).

I remember reaching out to Samantha once in this manner (it wasn't late at night, but it was short notice). She declined, but was very polite about it. I've always felt like the door was open for me to try again, with a bit more notice. Hopefully, I'll be able to make that happen one day. My read on this is it was just a confluence of factors that caused a negative reaction, not a normal course of dealing on the part of the OP.

Perhaps the Requestor saw your beautiful photos online and all normal reason and proper protocol went by the wayside? I could understand how this might happen.

Samantha, I couldn't agree with you more.....one of my biggest pet peeves is getting contacted by someone who clearly has not read my website. I spend quite a bit of time creating my ads and in creating my website to give the potential client all the basic information they may possibly need to know, as well as a little insight in to who I am,my personality, and to determine if we are compatible. I find that a client who is too lazy and inconsiderate to take the time to read my profile and website, will also be an inconsiderate and rude date.....not the type of gentleman I care to see, nor behavior I will tolerate. And I'm sorry, ANYONE who calls a provider at 1AM is not a gentleman. (unless she specifically advertises 24/7, and still I think not ok.....)

She said he PMed her... im reading around midnight asking for a 1AM appt. I guess assuming she is sitting by her computer, freshly showered and waiting for anyone to pm her for an appt within the hour?

It cracks me up.. My showcase on 411 CLEARLY states- menu/rates/hours/non-newbie friendly/no same day appts/no hh... what city I am in... Soooooooo why do i get PMs from guys who are in some other state.. in a city at least 8 hours away... asking me how much my rates are and if I would see him with no references within the next hour for a hh appt? Half the time I wont even reply back to such nonsense. If you cant take the time to research or AT LEAST read my showcase..than why would I take my time to screen you? You must have me confused for a hard up, in dire need for a dollar.. hooker. Bp may be more your cup o tea?

Thank you, Hayden and Lacy. You understand EXACTLY what I was talking about. A lot of men missed the point. It's not about if he calls, pm, fax, telegram, text, or send a morse code. Lacy....the last line in your previous post is RIGHT ON!!!! Thanks!

Are you saying don't send a PM or email if you're off the clock? It's not like your phone is ringing while you're trying to sleep, or someone's banging on the front door. Maybe the guy couldn't log in to ECCIE until after his wife or SO went to sleep. I just don't understand what is obtrusive about a PM or email.

And if he's new to the hobby he probably doesn't know how the screening process works, or how she handles newbies.

Jeez give the guy a break. Threads like this just get providers on 'Bitch = DNS' lists...

I don't mind being on some guys' DNS list. :-)

Send the pm, mail, fax, anytime! I know it's a lot to read on this thread...I understand you may not read the whole thing. I'm not mad anymore, the guy is not mad anymore. It's all good!
