“Doesn’t Bother Me One Damn Bit!” – Lindsey Graham Blasts NBC’s Kristen Welker For Complaining About Prosecution of Letitia James
by Cristina Laila Oct. 12, 2025

...Letitia James sued President Trump and tried to secure a $400 million+ judgment against him and seize his assets, even though no victim was identified.

Lindsey Graham pointed this out to Kristen Welker on Sunday as she attacked the Trump DOJ.

Media hack Kristen Welker is back to pushing the Democrat talking point of the ‘importance of an independent Justice Department’ because Trump is in the White House.

However, Welker and other stenographers in the media never cared when Biden sent Jack Smith after his political opponent, Donald Trump.

“You didn’t care that Letitia James made up charges that no one’s ever faced! That Alvin Bragg made up charges no one ever faced!” Lindsey Graham said.

“This may bother you that people are being held accountable — It doesn’t bother me one damn bit,” Lindsey Graham added...
Maybe some would be surprised to know that Jack Smith was "spying" on several Congress Critter phone calls. If so, they would really be surprised that they were all Republicans.

Not exactly...Recall there was no "aggrieved" parties in the lawfare against Trump, i.e. NO HARMS. Banks where happy and made whole before the suit was forged out of nothingness but a temporary change to a NY statute of limitations.

**PLUS** there was no government related funds in play at all. It was all mutual agreement between two parties, doing business. As such James could not try it as a Federal suit.

'Titia likely cannot say the same on her multiple frauds. I suspect most of hers involved tax payer funded entities like small business association, FHA and the like.
Could well be a superseding indictment waiting in the wings.

They're based on simple fraud, not on that obscure New York state consumer protection statute - Executive Law 63(12) - Tish dredged up as AG to convict trump because she knew she couldn't possibly meet the standards of proof required for simple, common-law fraud.

Here's a thought - let's throw out BOTH cases. After all, they're both "chicken-shit". Let's drop the charges against Tish James and nullify the verdict/judgment against trump. No quid pro quo, of course. Just a few quiet BCD handshakes between Bill Pulte, Abbe Lowell and Rowan Wilson. You know, the art of the deal. Sound fair?

Well, the judges at the New York Appellate Division, all of whom were appointed by Democratic governors, have thrown out the $500 million award to the state of New York. I'm not sure what the outcome was on certain temporary restrictions on Donald, Don Jr. and Eric's business activities in New York, but that may have been a blessing in disguise. Instead of pursuing real estate opportunities in a dying state, the family's focus is elsewhere, minting billions in crypto.

James could have gone after Trump for insurance fraud, or falsification of business records (which admittedly sounds like B.S. too), instead of using Executive Law 63(12). Executive Law 63(12) though is custom made to steal millions and billions from large banks, oil companies, and other successful businesses. That's the way to get the big bucks. Anyway, I have a tough time agreeing with WYID, that what James did was more egregious than what Trump organization did. Both may have presented false or misleading information to lenders and insurance companies, but the $ amounts were much, much higher for the Trump organization.

My resolution is a little more complicated than LustyLad's, and doesn't require a quid pro quo. The two sides should act independently and do the right thing. James should not appeal the last appellate court decision to the highest court in New York. The restrictions left on the Trump organization are a slap on the wrist and maybe justified by the facts. The DOJ should let Comey and James sweat a little longer and run up big legal bills, as a warning to out-of-control prosecutors and LE. Then Bondi should announce they're dropping charges. Ideally Trump at the same time would use the bully pulpit to press for criminal justice reform. Jared Kushner lead the effort to do this in Trump's first term, but it died on the vine.

Comey and James won't be convicted in eastern Virginia anyway. Democrats outnumber Republicans there, although the ratio isn't as ridiculous as Manhattan, where Trump had little-to-no chance of a fair jury trial.

Well NaCl-y, why don't you take this opportunity to bring over a cleaned up, clear, concise, precise presentation of what Txdot ask for here since the sandbox thread ain't here.

... Nope. ... Go take a gecko over there and read up on everything.

... Hmmmm... Though I surely might be persuaded to present
what I learned from the NY Times about Letitia's mortgage fraud.

Queens English, please.

You fail miserably at presenting the point(s) opaquely.

...Or your just shit stirring and dancing around that you have no facts which is par for course with you.

Personally, I care neither way. Just wanted to see how you would squirm out of not being able to produce what was asked.

... "Queen's English"?? - I'm the one surely using the Queen's English
each and every day in the forums, mate. ...

... Hmmmmm... "opaquely"?? ... Not even sure IF that's even allowed
'round here, mate - ya might wanna check with the Monitours! ...

... But I DO get good marks and proper credits from the people
who favour the Obtuse Society...

... Now, before I get more cards and letters asking for me thoughts
on the NY Times piece - "The Mortgage Fraud Case and Letitia James"
- he's me-own truth of the matter:

... We can set-aside Letitia's New York apartment crime for half-a-mo,
where she mis-labeled the number of flat units there to get better
mortgate rates and terms - that would be bad enough - so let's look
at her Norfolk, Virginia "residence"...

... At the Norfolk home, Letitia has told a different story to
a different entity at every turn. ... Universal Property Insure
was told the house was "OWNER OCCUPIED" - Non-seasonal use.

While also she told OVM Financial (bank) that the house was
"a Second Home" to get a 3.000% interest rate instead of 3.815%.

... And the IRS? ... To them it's a "Rental Property with ZERO
Personal Use Days" ... That claim surely allowed Letitia to
claim maximum tax deductions. ... And she told NY State that
the home was "Investment Property"...

But, then there's niece Nakia Thompson - who's own Grand Jury testimony
is that she lived there "rent free" and did not pay rent.
However, Letitia James filed "Schedule E Tax Forms" reporting that
thousands of dollars in rents were received.

... Problem is - all of these claims by Letitia can NOT all be true.
A couple of them surely are in direct contradiction of each other.

... Moves and ways and means such-as these are how Tax Fraud
and Mortgage Fraud are done each and every day.

... Certainly, the AG of New York would be aware the falsifying
mortgage and loan paperwork IS A CRIME. ... A crime where a
number of American citizens have gone to jail for this.

... And it would seem that Letitia James may be guilty of
these some offences. ... And now we'll see IF she is above the Law.

Or TX could figure it out for themself, seeing where as their narrative regurgitators are not suppling actual or factual information.

You might searching on the former CEO of Quicken Loans, which is now Rocket Mortgage. He lays out that on an average loan there is something around 9 to 12 places where you specify the loan type and what not. That's not counting the insurance quotes and permits and such.

Tx should not have to. He ain't the one that stated another place to look. The one who is getting all salty about it should do a favour for all here and supply the salient portions of what he says. But as usual, his intent is to hide that he has no fact(s) to support his statement and relegates his responses to barbar. He should step up and start using the Kings English. (Got ya there, NaCl-y )

The mortgage documents are online.... I was reading them this AM on X. Its pretty clear that she certifies the Virginia home as a 2nd residence and it will not be leased. Those were bank covenants she signed.

Nobody should have to do the basics for you.
