Medieval? The same savage brutality exhibited by Moslems in the initial expansion into Christian lands in the 7th Century AD has been on display in the 21st Century.

While Western societies have evolved beyond these Meadville norms, the Islamic world has not. When ISSIS displayed a prisoner in a cage, then burned him alive on TV there was no outcry of horror or even disapproval from Moslem leaders, religious or secular.

The relevance of this to the OP is that Sharia law condones and encourages all of those sorts of things . . . in the name of Islam.

LM: Thank you for that. I have asked the Mods/Admins to close this thread because, as you have pointed out, everyone has posted their thoughts completely already.

I would distinguish my feelings about Moslems as individuals from my feelings about Islam in general.

I have worked effectively and amicably with Moslems in the past. At a basic level, people are people with similar needs, wants and aspirations. Millions of Moslems are good people in every way.


However, as I have attempted to document here, there are aspects of Islam in general that collide with western society to the point of incompatibility. Islamic law is incompatible with the US Constitution and the governmental farmwork of most Western nations. This is not a phobia or just my opinion.

This incompatibility with western culture is the sated position of Islamic leaders, Clerics and several national governments. It is the stated position of Hamas, Hezbollah and ISSIS.

I would gin ask the ECIE staff to close this thread.
