Apparently FB and F4D do not understand that 75% of our GDP is from services, not goods. And we are fucking most other countries in the ass in the service sector, upon which the economy of the future is based.

I personally would prefer American made and see manufacturing come back to this country. The UAW also agrees.

A simple boycott of imported goods by freedom loving American patriots would be the most effective way to deal with this trade imbalance But fat ,dumb and happy US consumers love their cheap imported crap, willingly going to the dollar store to support our biggest geopolitical rival. I've even boycotting Chinese crap for nearly 30 years and even if the trade imbalance with china is solved, I'll still boycott them.
Your "analysis" does't consider the benefit consumers have gotten from freer trade. there are a few other Economic principles you're not considering, can you name them?

“…..JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon on Monday cautioned investors that the trade wars could threaten economic alliances that have made the U.S. the world’s most powerful country. Goldman Sachs Chief Economist Jan Hatzius bumped up the odds of a U.S. recession to 45 percent. And even Bill Ackman — the hedge fund billionaire and one of Trump’s biggest Wall Street cheerleaders — warned that the president’s ability to navigate the trade battle will be weakened if markets continue to crater……”
“…..It does not help our country’s and our president’s negotiating position to be trying to strike deals while our market is collapsing,” Ackman posted on X on Sunday night as futures markets cratered. “Whoever is recommending that idea to President @realDonaldTrump should be fired right now…..”
Financial people get it. Unfortunately, Trump has no one working for him with any idea of how world financial markets actually work.

Liberation Day……the only thing Trump liberated was a massive stock market crash.
“Turmoil in global markets snowballed into one of the worst routs in recent memory……”

Maybe he should have started with tariffs so they would be done now too.

Bidenflation? Inflation was largely caused by trump's socialistic pandemic response, people were so flush with cash that they didn't care how much things cost, spent it gambling and driving up the price of stocks like bed bath and beyond because they could. All the while many of these American patriots were working "side gigs".Our "instant gratification" patriots were only too happy to play both sides, apparently ignorant of the deficit implications. What's the plan to payback all that debt? it's costing about 200 billion a year to service that portion of the debt.
I'm not sure how you calculate inflation when half the stuff in the store isn't available and any Homeowner In WNY who claims they've been hurt by inflation is clearly full of it.My house has increased way more than the higher prices I've paid over the last few years. 3/31/21 NYS liberated millions of residents ending nearly 90 years of " nanny state" control and freeing the market. prices have dropped considerably, yet this is not included in inflation. why?
You realize that 2 of your "checks" were redundant with your nonsense about Bidenflation. My 5th grade teacher told me that that doesn't strengthen an argument. Moreover, explain how people are better off after a small decrease in inflation, soon to be a large increase (tariffs are taxes that drive down demand) , and a 15 percent drop in the stock market. When during the campaign did trump say we would have to take some pain from his agenda? Most World leaders , economists and investors disagree with you and trump. how long will re-shoring 'take? be very specific.
Do you and other maga types have a latent attraction to trannies? you seem quite obsessed with them and some how what they call themselves seems to be an issue, explain how this is a serious issue.
Illegal imimmigration hasn't stopped, wrong again. The trump administration can't read a roadmap because there are thousands of illegal advertising their services all over the country. Why are AMPs still open? it's the pinnacle of hypocracy for you and other maga types to whine about immigration and then go fuel the problem and tell the world about it. Asian gangs are as bad as Mexican and a whole lot smarter.

Earlier in this thread someone said Biden Economics are halted. Because of Trump.
I just want to add this to the abve post.
Did Biden do anything for the economy?
Real GDP grew 5.9% during Biden's first year, the fastest rate since 1984. Amid record job creation, the unemployment rate fell at the fastest pace on record during Biden's first year, from 6.4% in January 2021 to 3.9% by December 2021.

And the longer this thread goes on the more you can appreciate my earlier post.
"Trump supporters will believe him when he tells them eggs are now $2.00 a dozen even though they are paying $7.00 a dozen".
And yes I know they are not 7 now.

MAGDA has now arrived…..Make America’s Greatest Depression Appear! Courtesy of D.Trump…….
The markets are crashing again this AM. But hey, oil prices came down, so we can save .05 a gallon on gas, while we lose 20% or more of our net worth!
“……U.S. stock markets — which had already suffered their third-biggest two-day decline in history last week, tumbling Friday after China announced a 34 percent retaliatory tariff on U.S. imports…….”
Well, Trump can finally say he is the good at something…..he made the top 3 in 2-Day stock market crashes…….
