McConnell flat out said "no chance".

The Federalist Society - which has carried water for that mope - said "Impeach him FAST".

It will be a landslide loss for Trump in November.

not quite true. steven calabresi wrote an op-ed in the .. wait for it .. NY Times. it wasn't an article on The Federalist website. since their readership is limited i'm sure he welcomed the NY Times giving him a platform to rant about Evil Lord Trump to their base of rabid liberals. oh did you know the Ochs family were slave owners? i wonder if some of the Obama clan were their property? how cool would that be?

1) He took a cheap shot at Bubba Wallace over the noose hoax. FACT - Bubba Wallace never saw the noose. A NASCAR official saw it and reported it to Wallace and the press. The whole thing was dying away until Trump revived it.

2) He criticized both the Cleveland Indians and the Washington Redskins for even considering name changes.

He stupidly picks fights with people in the private sector who can do what they please with their businesses.

Does he REALLY think these juvenile tweets are going to rally ANYONE to his side? Has he ever had a strategic thought in his life?

My only question is whether he is doing it deliberately because he has concluded he is going to lose and he wants to punish the GOP for not supporting him enough. He is going to take everyone down with him.

I am one who thinks Hitler analogies are generally asinine. But in this instance, he is Hitler in the bunker destroying Germany as he loses to the Allies.

Well, it is time to evaluate my predictions above.

On the election, I got 2 out of 3 right. Trump lost BIG, the Dems kept the house, but - GOOD NEWS - the Dems did NOT take the Senate, pending the Georgia special elections. I hope the GOP keeps it.

Ginsburg died before Biden took office. So, that threw a monkey wrench into my predictions about SCOTUS. As I'm sure it did for everybody.

With Coney-Barrett on the court, conservatives padded their lead. But there it still a strong possibility that Thomas or Alito or both will be gone before 2024 and Biden can shift the court to 5-4 liberal (instead of 6-3).

So, gun rights, abortion, and free speech will probably stay as they are unless and until Biden gets that 5-4 shift. But that is still possible.
