If a provider changes their handle for safety reasons, I thought it was a rule you could not out that changed handle by stating their old handle in a thread. (Especially one like this then depicting the very similar description between the two, even if it’s obvious, I assumed it couldn’t be confirmed in public writing or full written disclosure for security purposes, no? ) Can someone help me out w this ? Could someone maybe link the handle rule or outing rule whatever it may be under? I just wanted to see to what degree it fell under.

Just curious is all. I can explain further if I am educated a bit more about the aforementioned question at hand. Thank you In advance for the help.

Honestly I wasn’t even looking at the handle. I had read it the other day and just noticed it. But didn’t know yet. Then today I had a little fun with a reg of mine and he managed to tell me how he was banned for 3 months for simply stating a lady’s past handle in correlation with her new alias and then lightbulb! I was then reminded of what I read. And then I felt I just needed to find out and clarify.

So if indeed this is the case, what happened here w above statement? But again, maybe I’m missing something. Which is why I asked for the link or at the very least a brief lesson on this particular subject. So I can be aware of it in the future.
