Whatever. Democrats took back control of the House. That is what is most significant coming out of Tuesday's elections. Republicans had control of the Senate. Now their control is firmer.

It's strange how 2 months or so ago, when so many on this board were predicting the Republicans holding onto the House and some even predicting a net Republican GAIN in the House, winning the House was important. As the days passed by and Republicans winning the House became more unlikely, the attitude mysteriously changed. and winning the House became unimportant. It was all about the Senate. From Trump on down.

Very strange indeed.

Democrats did win in Nevada, Montana and WV, the latter 2 also being solid red states. Florida is the one that hurts most for Democrats.

Meanwhile, despite several on this forum downplaying it, winning the House was significant and they have a 26 seat lead with 15 seats yet to be decided. And I believe the Democrats picked up 6 on Governor races.

So it may not have been a "Blue Wave" but in my opinion the Democrats faired better Tuesday night than the Republicans.

Which is why, to me I do feel it was a blue wave as promised.
