One did intend to kill someone, although he "thought" that "someone" was a "deer".

You like to go out "hunting" after dark in a residential neighborhood? What a racist moron!

I guess it depends on what he "hunts"!

Right now he's "hunting" a reason to criticize the jury's decision, which sounds very much like criticizing the decision of the Electoral College!

They heard the evidence (or lack thereof) and he didn't.

It's simple. He's claiming there no such thing as an accident, and the California law is rather clear on two points: (1) there is in California and (2) it's the State's burden to prove beyond a reasonable doubt it was NOT an accident. The State failed!

So this guy picks up a wrapped gun that was stolen (not by him) it goes off, the bullit bounces off a rock and kills this girl and the DA charges him with murder?

I do not understand why any of you think he should be charged with murder or even the lessor charge under those circumstances.

It's transparent: He's an illegal alien Hispanic and she's white.

Correct me if I'm wrong: If she were his Hispanic common law wife, who provided him a home while he's here, it wouldn't even be a news item.

It may still go better in a civil action somewhat like OJ's case, but .... also like OJ's case there's not much recovery to be had.

Even in California I doubt they will tag any "deep pockets" for insurance money or assets, because of the intervening activities (or lack thereof) that resulted in the death of their daughter.

From what I've heard recently the illegal aliens get more money from the government in settlements than the U.S. citizens in California. So may be they'll pay him and he can pay them!!!!

As for a "gun control" hook for the Liberal nuts, it is one of those fact cases that do not fit the "vetting" and "background" check rubric for scoring points! Unless one wants to "consider" losing a gun as lack of "gun control"!

I DO feel they need to start charging officers of the law, who FAIL to properly secure their guns , allowing someone to break in and steal them easily..
