I missed the original link...but searched out the story and quickly found a mug shot...I didnt recognize her, but if I did, presto - the real world/eccie connection is made. Even if the link didnt have a mug shot, internet stories are often updated, and it may eventually include the mug shot.

So why not just say "hey there's a provider with hiv in columbia, go check it out"?

Why do we absolutely have to have the link?

And frankly its more than just her privacy....maybe its bad for a link to be made between the board and attempted murder...you think? As in the board may get included in the investigation if it turns out she utilized the board in the commission of the crime.

Can we just let it go....and let people look it up themselves...sans sit ins and protest marches.

And Whispers....in any aspect of life, be it the business world, the military, you name it.....coming over here to challenge the local mod without any backchannel discussion is considered "bad form".. I really can't believe how you've acted.

This board is not the place for free speech philosophy...its a place for discretion.

The mod made a judgement call on the side of discretion...Whisper should accept that and move on with his life.

Parenthetically, no animals were harmed in the commission of this censorship. Anybody is still free to go look up the original story.
