You are showing your ignorance yet again.

We have a regressive and progressive tax system in this country....poor people pay mostly the regressive taxes , while rich pay mostly through progressive taxes.

Quit being such an idiot.

About 45% of Americans pay no federal income taxes, about 20% of those get paid to not pay from credits. How do you lower someones federal income taxes who pays nothing or gets paid instead of paying?

Ok, now you're finally getting specific. Those two provisions are ancillary ones. I don't particularly like them either, but I don't judge or reject the entire bill because of them.
BUT why were they appended to the tax bill in the first place?

The expansion of the federal deficit is my biggest reason for opposing the tax plan. I agree that the conventional definition of pork barrel is expressed as an appropriation. But having fought pork barrel politics for much of my life I understand there is considerable nuance in that phrase. You need to think bigger, broader. Government giveaways can come in a variety of expressions. Pork barrel can also be expressed as a loop hole in a tax. Or as a gift to a corporation through a provision in policy that results in that corporation earning more income. That's a more modern and activist approach to understanding pork barrel. This tax bill, for example, specifies tax reductions for real estate developers/partnerships. Hmmm. Sounds like something the Trump folks might find attractive. This bill is brimming with special interest provisions like that one. Whether or not you want to call them "pork barrel" or not is no biggie. What is significant is that the special interests are being served up lots of candy with this bill. Meanwhile we continue to kick the "responsibility" can down the road.

Of course. None of the turds in office, wish to tell their financial backers, "Screw you , we re doing what's good for the Citizens of the country, rather than just the few of you".

ITS also going to KEEP going up as long as those same turds NEVER TACKLE THE SPENDING..
