Normally I'd say prove it's not. But this is too good to pass up. Coronavirus is currently the 3rd leading cause of death in the USA, behind heart disease and cancer. GDP is down 10% year on year. We're in the worst recession since the Great Depression. Thirty-one million Americans are receiving unemployment benefits.

So do you think the lefty rioters are out of control in Portland, Minneapolis, and the other big cities? How many people have died because of the riots? Less than 20? By your estimate about 125,000 Americans have died from Covid, by mine 190,000. And how about the economic damage from the riots? Maybe $10 billion? $20 billion tops? Compare to the several trillion dollar hit we've taken from coronavirus.

Yeah, Covid 19 is out of control in the U.S.

Tiny is correct - the Wuhan virus is out of the box in america.

all the masks and controls from DPST control freak governments will slow the progression a bit - but only reaching natural herd immunity will end it.

Vaccines - not until late 2021 at best.

We have gone about this backwards - instead of protecting the vulnerable - the power/control hungry DPST's love their Kalifornia style lockdowns to control and force the population to Obey - dear to the DPST Marxist hearts. And - biden ( read harris and H.. - her VP to be) will forcibly lock down the entire country to ensure their Rule is Obeyed.

Civil War is coming!!!

Default Romny for the win

I don't ridicule your SKS. I's just nearly an antique (cheaply made - likely by slave labor ;-) and is child sized. Put American furniture on it and it will greatly improve it's usability. Don't get me wrong, I have one packed in grease. I prefer my Romanian version with adult-sized American furniture.

Read the Math+ protocol paper. They do amp up the dosages a fair bit for more rigorous needs. Essentially, they talk about low doses as prophylactic. EX: the Melatonin recommended is almost impossible to find as low a dose as they call out. More importantly, Zinc and bio-flavanoids are plentiful in foods. You might try a hope-casting Googlie search for them?

If you have a white board, try listing out the similarities and differences (Pros-Cons, actually a decision tree) between a "health care" and "community" settings. List out your likelihood of getting an open body operation performed in both settings. Shouldn't need much effort on your part. You could try the same against Limp-dick versus DEAD and decide which sounds least preferred.

So... there I was, getting some street Tacos from a food truck and I thought; maybe they could remove my gall bladder while they are making my tacos, when you spot the list of recent Board of Health violations they have received.

I take Cold Eze zinc lozenges when I get coronaviruses. I'm reluctant to take high quantities of zinc on a daily basis because there are risks, including increased risk of prostate cancer. And going through the rest of my life with a limp dick scares me more than dying from Covid. I'm going later this week to an area where the Covid is totally out of control, and will honestly take zinc while traveling because of your input. Thank you. Maybe combined with the face shield, goggles, N95 mask, and Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle that you make fun of (which makes people afraid to get anywhere near me) I'll survive.

That would be exactly quantity of 2, China and India. China shows no numbers in any credible charts. Would you believe them even if they did?

India has over the counter HCQ. Plus I'm not entirely sure they fell for the goofy notion of over counting COVID deaths because of reimbursement winnings (EX: fall out of an airplane at 10,000 meters and find out you have COVID so COVID is what you died from and you get double the $ as a result) and they absolutely have been far, far behind in testing.

As to other countries, maybe these charts will aid your understanding

I agree the Wuhan virus is out of the box in America, However its fortuitous timing with the push for mail in voting. The numbers are going down but we may never know the true numbers because cities and states have been fast and lose with reporting covid 1984 vs Mack truck the 101 year old etc
Suspicious the china losing money ( sorso rothchilds bidens also ) and the virus hits just at the convergence of voting
The DPST socialists pushing the mail in voting gotto keep the pig flying ( remember 5 states already have it)
So I agree with the OP lets move on and maybe deal with voting cities burning

Thanks for that. Not the info about tacos and community settings, but the Zinc info. I went by two pharmacies today and they were all sold out of Zinc pills, so I blew $45 on Coldeze Zinc lozenges and the Walgreens house brand lozenges. You can get 1 mg melatonin at Walgreens, and I've already been taking that along with Vitamin D and Magnesium. I'm going to read up on this a bit more before diving in deep, but where do you get the quercetin? I didn't see that in the drug stores. Or would you even take it if you eat lots of fruits and vegetables?

To WYID, the CDC advised wearing masks well before May as you stated. Not sure exactly when, but here is an article from early April with no other than Trump relating the CDC recommendation to do so. You may or may not like NPR, but that's not the issue. Date of report is. I agree that masks were not initially advised, but the reason was to attempt to reserve supplies for health care workers. No one at that point had thought of using home made masks for the general public. That initial recommendation has since been criticized by arm chair quarterbacks enjoying the luxury of hindsight.

On subject of herd immunity, I'm afraid we won't achieve anytime soon. First, a first gen vaccine is only likely to be 50 to 70 percent effective in terms of eliciting adequate antibody response from those innoculated. That's my opinion from my reading, if you disagree, post credible scientic proof and I'll reconsider.
Second, even if an antidody response is elicited it may not be long lasting. There is recent evidence of re-infection of a few patients that would have normally been thought to be immune by prior exposure. Credibility a nd ramifications as yet unclear. Some immunizations for other diseases require periodic re-vaccination or re-vaccinatiin after exposure; e.g. tetanus. Related to anamnestic response for those familiar. Third, the virus could mutate rendering the vaccine ineffective against the new strain, but that's a topic best left to a new thread. Finally, a significant portion of the population may choose to not be vaccinated. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/po...CwG?li=BBnb7Kz
You might argue the finite percentage, but the point is still the same. Probably need 60-70% herd immunity for the virus to "go away" and the numbers above don't support it.

Personally, I'm almost to the point that I'd just as soon get it and hope I survive, and also hope that it means I won't get it again.
However, on the other hand, not sure I'd want to live with the guilt of getting it and passing it on to my wife or others and they not survive.

To WYID again. Contrary to your statement, I read and comprehend what I read quite well. I try to write logically, respectfully, and in complete sentences and strive to document my statements with documentation or label them as opinion. You occasionally do the same, but sometimes become disrespectful, call names and denigrate fellow posters by comparing them to Hannibal Lector, etc. I'm curious, why is that?

There is enough upset with idiots on the net bloviating their marxism and violence. and master 'baiting' to drag down serious debate.

Time to defend against the AntiFa OBLM terrorists.

Listen asshole. I am from the tristate area originally. That is how I know you are full of shit. Calling me a redneck makes as much sense as calling you a Cajun. But name-calling is the only "argument" you have.

And 0.0000001% of cases is 1 in 100 million of the cases. Since the entire US doesn't even have 100M cases, that estimate is bullshit. If you are in any of the "good" counties near NYC, including Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, etc., you still have hundreds of active cases and are pulling in 50+ new cases per day in all of those counties. Read here:

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/new-york/

If you are in some upstate county where there are single digit new cases or no new cases, then you never would have met a Texan at a local bar.

Because NOBODY from out-of-state would be caught dead in Ulster or Ontario counties.

Also, there would be no "hot" women - as you described them - in the local bars. There would just be a bunch of divorced heifers with two or more kids looking for some idiot to buy them a drink.

Any more lies?
