Apparently, shitty egg prices are down. Those of us who care about what goes into our bodies are paying more for eggs now than we were before the moronic fat fuck took over. Fact.

In fact egg prices ARE down 40+% across the board.
We all feel so bad your special eggs aren’t down according to you.
How dare President Trump focus on the masses and their egg purchases and not your special eggs.
Now if you’ll please excuse its time to go a watch my David Hogg workout tape. Hoping to get biceps as big as his!

Uh-oh. I just asked my trusty AI research assistant "is the word 'ghetto' considered racist"?
Here's what popped up:
"The word "ghetto" is widely considered a racist or racially charged term in contemporary American English due to its historical and modern associations with systemic racism, forced segregation, and negative stereotypes of Black and other minority communities."
Sorry, JV. Not sure I can trust you anymore as the final arbiter of who/what is racist.
Maybe you want to fight it out with my AI assistant... while you're shopping for those special "cruelty-free" eggs!

So I met a client, who is also a friend, today for brunch in East Liberty.
I decided I would order the special eggs and let me tell you I’ve never felt or tasted anything better. I also asked others eating eggs if they also ordered special or regular. But alas, they ate the eggs of the commoners.
Of course we had to pay a little bit more for these special eggs and were not going to stand for it. It’s a crime that the elite egg eaters have not gotten any price relief like the 40+% the common men and women have enjoyed. Obviously this is Trumps fault.
We’re organizing a march against the unfair prices of these eggs and shall call it “special eggs for special people”. Who shall join us? We will march to the steps of the White House if needed.
Also would like to thank a special poster for sharing the secret of these special eggs and outrageous prices!

Let’s change the world one egg at a time. Thank you President Trump for your amazing work.
Trump's Inauguration (January 20, 2025): Average U.S. retail price for a dozen Grade A large eggs was approximately $4.95–$6.55 (monthly average ~$4.95 per BLS/USDA.
Today (January 4, 2026): Average retail price has fallen significantly to around $2.86 (BLS November 2025 data, latest available)

So, what specifically did he do to lower the price of eggs, GM?

There’s 40 pages on egg prices, mostly by the TDS crowd screaming gotcha to Trump, including moving the goal posts with data points, specifically the starting point, to times when Trump wasn’t even in office to make your argument look better.
Overall inflation under Trump is tame compared to Biden. But you chose eggs. You can always look under the surface of data and pick something that validates your argument. Most don’t understand that.
When Egg prices were up it didn’t matter what Trump did or didn’t do or what he could or could not control to the TDS folks.
We’re now a legit year in and egg prices are down, Bigly.
Doesn’t matter what Trump did or didn’t do or can or can’t control. Same rules, we’re not changing them now.

If you're thanking him you should be able to give specific actions that lowered eggs prices rather than blind, blanket praise.
Was it importing foreign eggs? Reducing testing or relaxing testing standards so that there were less culls? Adjusting reporting so that there were less positive cases requiring culls? Those might all help drop prices

Thank you to those that have reached out about our “special eggs for special people” march. There is still time to volunteer.
We shall not eat the eggs of the commoner, we are special.
We will make the world a better place, one egg at a time.

Today’s egg update. Woah!
As of January 7, 2026, the average U.S. retail price for a dozen large Grade A eggs is approximately $2.90 (based on late 2025 BLS data around $2.86 in November, with early 2026 trends showing continued stability or slight decline after the 2025 bird flu-driven peak).
At Trump's inauguration in January 2025, the average was $4.95 per dozen (BLS/USDA data).
This represents a decrease of about 41%.
I can only hope our special egg eaters get relief like the commoners and their egg preferences.

I guess some folks prefer Steak-umms over filet mignon, too. I didn't think the economy was that bad, but I guess it is.
Maybe some day everyone can afford filet again. It sure as hell won't be any time soon with this clown car administration. But don't worry, MAGA. Better days, and better eggs, are coming eventually.
And once again, for the record, my "special eggs" were $1.50 cheaper under Biden

I eat filet all the time. You can get some killer deals at SnS once a month. Nothing better than a filet and 3 cheap eggs over easy for breakfast. That’s a lot of healthy protein. The breakfast of champions.
