Figured I’d bump this thread before it gets buried with the avalanche of posts from the guy who “found other things to do”.
I’m hoping for a good game! Hopefully the weather isn’t a complete mess. I’ve seen video of the stadium right now and it’s not possible to play a game in what I saw.

I have a rather confident feeling heading into the game tomorrow. Buffalo's D is banged up and Steelers' running game is the best its been in years. Mason also continues to play professional level QB; something else we haven't seen in a couple seasons.

Win or lose, Kenny Pickett should be holding the clipboard next season.

just reminding the arm chair opinions here, 2 guys called for mason to be the qb as far back as page 23 of this thread...............chase and me

others claimed he was shit and mitch gave us a better chance

mason has an arm and plays like a pro. he isnt the next big ben but he has proven he deserved better than what tomlin allowed. many thought he was the best qb in the preseason including a few retired steelers, chris hoke. he wasnt treated fairly

we have a chance monday and it is all because of mason,period. the team knows he is the best chance.....its a shame it took tomlin this long to realize it.

if we win and thats a huge if,since we dont have TJ, i would feel even more confident of beating baltimore...we have their number and i would bet baltimore is preying we lose monday.

in the end, i wouldnt be a bit surprised if we get blown out tomorrow but if we are ahead or within a close margin in the 4th qtr, we very well might pull the upset. I hope that austin can put in some new blitzes to confuse josh allen and the bills......

Neither Mitch nor Mason were treated fairly, in favor of Pickett (who will most likely go down as the worst 1st round pick in franchise history).

I only wanted Mitch to have a fair shake (and no, 3 starts at the beginning of 2022 with Yinzer Nation screaming at his every misstep to put Kenny in does not constitute a fair shake). Well, he got finally got his, and he's not the guy. Next.

Mason finally getting his fair shake and he's quickly proven to be the best QB on the team. By a mile. But if we're being completely honest, nobody saw this coming with Mason. It's ok to admit he has played surprisingly well. I certainly do.

I also clamoured for Mitch to start - even WITH Kenny healthy.
And Mitch shit the bed!

I meant to tell everyone here a month ago that we need to start Mason Rudolph and he’ll take us to the playoffs with the highest QB rating of all the playoff quarterbacks.

Mason came a little back to Earth, defense was crap (very much a Tomlin tendency in playoffs) and nobody made a lot of plays. Not a lot on this team to really love.

For those that want to get someone to replace Pickett.
Did you notice Jacksonville & Philly/Filthy lost, should they look to draft a franchise QB or is it possible it’s the team and or coaches not the QB.

On the game yesterday. I much prefer we loose this time to Buffalo than the next time to Baltimore. The glass is half full in this instance.

With the exception of the one pass that was intercepted I thought Mason played well and showed alot of composure in the pocket. If he doesn't go into next season as the number one qb or at least be given a fair chance to compete, it's a crock of shit.
Defense lost the game and the offensive play call was subpar.
Tomlin walking out of the press conference when asked about his future could be a sign he is stepping down. We will see.
I'm going to now hope either Texans or bills or detroit win it all. So.eone who hasn't gotten the trophy yet. The kid from Houston really is impressive in his maturity.

Literally every coach gets asked that question, including McCarthey and Sciriani. Both answered thoughtfully.
