Right on all points. I have it all happen to me, too.
The wake up call for me was about 3 months after my first wife died of breast cancer, when I was still still in shock about the loss; a close friend and business acquaintance got me aside and told me I just needed to get laid to snap out of it and get my mind back on work and my children.
I met a true courtesan. I now fully believe that we need to recognize our manhood, because that is what we are. Sometimes the answer to thinking out life's problems is to just go get laid. It is nicer in a relationship, but sometimes that is not available.
