Not only that, but they were not allowed to own the tools of their trade (i.e. if they were a carpenter, they couldn't OWN hammers, nails, ladders, etc). They were basically forced to trust white people with their tools and money, and hope for the best. It wouldn't take a genius to guess how that turned out, now would it?

The best way to destroy a country is to cripple its economy and divide the people ...
