Because it isn't. Not any moreso than when Don Imus was fired for calling the the women's basketball team "Nappy-headed". In this case, Lush Bimbo is not even being fired. His sponsors are just telling him to think before he shits using his mouth again.

Where were you when Don Imus was FIRED, Kayla?

Bloody hell! I totally remember that Don Imus comment. What was he thinking? Simply, no place in today's society for such comments. In my opinion Rush has done far worse. He doesn't seem to mind being outrageously over the top. In fact I think he fancies it to be honest!

Advertisers are free to do what they want. It appears that Rush is weathering this storm well. I think 4 or more national advertisers have ponied up to take the places of those who left. Don't expect Rush to leave very soon.

She's advocating for change. People do it all the freakin' time.

And you're a neanderthal.

She has the right to go to the management of Georgetown Law School and advocate for them to change their policy. The problem is that she went to the federal government to get them to force Georgetown Law School to make a change. The federal government does not have the constitutional right to do that and congress should not even be involved in the discussion.

I'd like to know if Georgetown, their athletic department, their insurance provider or Alumni Association ever paid a nickel toward condoms, abortions, vasectomies, ED drugs for any students, athletes, employees or faculty or their dependents or their love interests.

Who here is naive enough to think no "mistakes" ever occurred to their star players or staff.

If she were simply advocating on behalf of herself, you'd be correct. If she were advocating on behalf of women, doing so would be a bit of a waste, wouldn't you agree?

You do realize, don't you, that there are probably hundreds of rules regarding mandated coverages within the health care industry? Take your beef to the Supreme Court.

Why don't we quit mandating coverage, and let people and companies contract for what they want? In other words, why don't we try a little freedom?

Freedom? You can't handle Freedom!

Normal people who don't understand "cafeteria style" insurance contracts are ALWAYS victimized by insurers who know the actuarial data backwards and forward.

Why do you think the insurers lobby the insurance commissioners - so they can tweak the "cafeteria dishes" to favor their bottom lines.

Insurance is regulated at the state level and the consumers are not usually the beneficiary. If we got what COG wants we would be much better off. Simply force companies to prove they are financially capable of paying claims and outlaw deceptive or misleading marketing. Other than that stay out of the way and let the companies compete. Most of the efforts made by the regulators to "protect" the consumer do not work. They will buy whatever is sold to them. The best way to regulate them is to hold the executives that allow or approve of deceptive practices personally liable. If they know they are not safe they will be careful. Competition will take care of the rest.

She advocating marginalizing Freedom of Religion to satisfy the needs of women who voluntarily went to a college that doesnt meet the needs they have. Or 40% of them anyways. Its not as simple as you make it. Name calling just shows the lack of depth in your position and its boring.
