Bob, here's a link to some roads in the area that offer good riding.

Just an opinion, but I'm an advocate of "the ride is enough" when it comes to socializing with motorcycles. Yes, I understand we have to eat, but riding from one watering hole to another is not why I crank up the Beemer.

This isn't my show, but if it comes down to riding with folks who are looking for a beer party on wheels, I just don't. Don't want a big ElectraGlide 20 feet behind me doing 80 mph with an impaired driver at the controls. One doesn't have to remember too far back to recall when we lost one of our own here due to drinking and riding.

my plan for this event is an actual ride... through some nice back roads up to a certain point, then back down to Dallas to Strokers or something so those that want to drink can and socializing can be had but you don't have to worry about someone crashing you.

there'll be socializing beforehand too... meet & greet... and checking out each others bikes and honeys.

For the right ride and the right back seater, I'd even wash the Road King, heck I might even put the bitch pad back on. I tend to ride it more than I polish it so its got some bug stains on it, LOL.

Just gotta be careful who's behind ya cause if they get frisky ...
