I know this sounds like a stupid statement but ANY publicity is good publicity.
If I have a boring day in the office and want to throw in my opinions and ruffle some feathers here and there for shits and giggles I get Gents wanting to book with me for it. If I am sweet and fun I get Gents wanting to book with me for it. If I am just silly/funny whether it be in a mean or friendly tone I get Gents wanting to book with me for it.
I know of a girl that has Ugly (literally) in her screen name. She is rude and snotty in the community, she says whatever she wants whenever she wants with no regard for anyone's feelings. Somehow she is 300H, highly reviewed, she is always busy, and usually the only complaint about her services by the Gents is that she is hard to book with because she books up so fast. She is by NO MEANS attractive or nice to anyone but since she is so controversial her phone never stops ringing.
I have even see girls flourish by getting trashed in multiple reviews because guys just had to see it for themselves, think a hot mess is hot, want a bad girl....
Long story short, no matter how much someone sucks, how rude they are, how much they bully, how bad they might be..... if people are talking, the clients keep coming.
I wouldn't ever recommend running a business that way but it works well for some.

whether a girl has been here 2 months or 2 years, it should be fairly obvious to her that at any given time there is going to be a core group of 10 people who are the most active, high volume posters and that the majority of threads - or at least the most active ones - become them talking amongst themselves.

where i think what you mention comes into play is when this "group of 10" grossly over value their contributions and opinions, or fail to realize that for every one of them there are ten or twenty others who don't post because of the atmosphere created by those ten people or who have no interest in posting to begin with.

anytime i speak my mind about someone like JonBalls (and vice versa) i get a flood of PM's thanking me for doing so. these PM's tend to be from members registered for more than a year and who don't post, or do so infrequently. other providers also frequently thank me for being willing to say what needs to be said.

i too receive an associated increase in first time requests from gentlemen immediately following these incidents, and i use the term gentlemen in the truest sense of the word.

sometimes the "who" is more important than the "what" in regards to things being said.

Ms. Elizabeth you can be so spot on in a post and then you negate yourself in my eyes when you purposefully attempt to create animosity and elicit a response. The above post is a perfect example. By mentioning a specific name your post lost credibility and value because you felt you had to name names or point someone out specifically. Its really disappointing!

and yet i get another PM from yet another provider thanking me for saying the things i said about a specific person (which she found to be both credible and valuable) and stating that she definitely won't be seeing that person.

I find this thread really really amusing. The same asshats that have single handedly tried to destory this site are the very ones making all the noise again. Whenever there is a thread that has created hostility and animosity, you can be guaranteed that it is due to the same old retreaded tires on here. As i remember one of these people was banned, and the cries that came out for his reinstatement FORCED his return. Now, those who were crying the loudest, are banned, and he is still here still being an ass. Ironic to say the least. The simplest of threads or opinions, are twisted turned and made into some agenda that these few have on this board.
For example, i have found it funny that Jack is referred to as DD and DD has been alluded to being many other former mods as well like Docdave. This shows a certain level of Narcisistic paranoia, the fact that they think they are the be all and end all of this board and that we cant survive without them. Here's the solution, if you think your so damn important, leave the board and leave us, the people who want to share information and do it in a polite non-confornational way, to make the posts. Take your rants and idiotic diatribes to some chat board on yahoo, where you can play with all the other immature teenagers who need a beat down. Im sure someone there will make you fee like your wanted and give you the need you have for attention. Then in 4-5 months, drop back in. I bet you see the board is flourishing without you. In the end, its up to us, the rest of the membership here to right this ship that has been on course to fracture and sink for some time now.

Ms. Elizabeth then use the correct forum - the "Infoshare/Problem Client Reports-Upstate New York' which is specifically for providers. Vent Rant Rage to our hearts content but as I said identifying individuals by name causes consternation and creates the potential for a negative backlash! A backlash that the individual who does the naming brings on themselves.

Again, as I said you bring a lot to the board and share some wonderful thoughts/ideas/and suggestions. It is a mistake to name names! That Is All That I Am Saying And if you are getting PM's from providers thanking you then you might get even more praise and thanks by posting your comments in the "Infoshare/Problem Client Reports-Upstate New York"
