I took a wrong turn after my second divorce and second mortgage lol. Seriously, I had a child and a Bachelors Degree does not pay crap these days. I wanted to build a better future by going back to school, which I did..graduated in May.

Only problem is, I have ZERO experience in my field so I was lucky enough to get accepted into a program where I work for free several hours a week for the next two years. Hopefully, that will garner the job and pay I need to be set.

The moral part is probably the hardest to deal with though. I have a very strong faith, know what I am doing is wrong, yet can't possibly work a normal job yet to make what I need to make. I know that's never an excuse, but that's all I got.

You need to talk to a very nonjudgemental therapist not a lawyer before doing anything. You have talked yourself into justifying the divorce which from your opening comments doesnt meet any sensible criteria for a divorce. As has been mentioned, you can continue to see providers or others for sex and still stay married since the marriage seems very workable despite the poor quality of sex from your point of view. You can see there is no shortage of providers and others who seem to want to come to your aide.

Can I ask what field that is? Working for free for two years seems an unreasonable program...with a grad degree. You don't have to answer, if you don't want to.

The person you LOVE is your best friend. Although it is "above my pay grade" you seem to be confusing "lust" with "love." I "love" chocolate candy bars, but they are not good for me and will "ruin" the quality of my life. So, ...... I don't partake.

But look at it this way, if you want a positive solution. By "getting rid" of your wife (and daughter) you will be doing both of them a favor, so they can got out and find someone who really cares about them and will focus on a relationship with them and not on themselves.

I appreciate all the feedback.

To those who felt this was a shallow attempt at justification. It indeed was the opposite. Sometimes when you have an idea in your head that you feel is pretty irrational you lay it to people who have gone through it already, and it helps bring you back to your senses.

For the record I was never looking at someone to say, "dump the bitch." I was hoping in this to find folks (which I did) who encouraged me to stay married, because they divorced previously at it in fact was not better.

Sure I could talk to a therapist about all this, but in my opinion who better to talk about it than people who have a high probabilty of already going through it.

Anywho, I have decided to take portions of this advice. I will be staying with my wife, and we will work it out. I think the communication piece was something I was embarrassed to do, but now I know it is necessary.
