The uncomfortable truth you are so afraid of is that American culture has changed again and again since the founding of our nation. This has happened every time we have added a new influx of immigrants into the mix.

Your resistance to this change and the change itself is not a new phenomenon. And sooner than you might imagine your resistance to this change will be a moot point because we’re already seeing the change occurring.

I assumed only that you subscribe to the fiction you invoke, the great replacement theory. One of its basic, faulty premises is that America is a White Christian culture. I don't buy it.

I would say that some aspects of our culture, though our culture is probably more diffuse than shared, are dominant. One of the most widely shared aspects, in the 98% range, is that we are or are descended from immigrants. From that, the change in our culture looks a lot more like slow and constant evolution, as tex-dot guy says, than replacement.

Yup, much of the America I grew up in is no more. Hallelujah! Be nice if people just wanted to make today's tomorrow better rather than trying to make it yesterday, which wasn't so great for a whole lot of people.

No but they eventually will be. That’s how the process works. And by the way those Somali’s you are so worried about. About 260,000 are currently living here in America in 2025.

They already do. Think about the number of people who have migrated to Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, etc to escape the fighting in the middle east. Refugees to America, Europe and Asia are a fraction of the total numbers of refugees world wide. The ones migrating tend to be the ones who will work the hardest at assimilating into their new country because they want to be a part of their new community.
