The sites got destroyed. Sad that the usual suspects here side with the proven lies of the "media" and the mullahs. TDS is a very real thing. And by the way, excavators are usually at sites that have been demolished.

This idea that asking questions or casting doubt on the extent of the damage done is criticism of Trump just for the sake of criticism is knee-jerk MAGA bullshit.

Trump was unjustified in making his hyperbolic claims so early.

NO ONE knew the true extent of the damage at that time. Or even now.

Trump obviously has access to more data than anyone else right now. But it is incomplete.

And he DAMN SURE didn't have a full assessment when he started shooting his mouth off, making premature and unrealistic claims.

But MAGA loves that. Can't get enough of Trump hyperbole.

And that is part of why he gets so much criticism from the left and the center. He spews exaggerations and misrepresentations every chance he gets, and then MAGA defends it with as much aggression and scorn as they can bring to bear.

It's illustrative of what I posted above about how MAGA defends Trump's blustery and posing. It's become reflexive and they don't even realize how it trashes any credibility they may have once had.

And right on point this A.M., Frank Bruni in the NYT today says:
