There was a fatal shooting at a protest in Salt Lake yesterday. A bystander was struck and killed when a private security officer for the event fired at a man who pulled out an AR-15 and supposedly ran towards the crowd when confronted by the security guard.

Few other details are available. Maybe we could all....avoid speculating or otherwise taking advantage of this to attack one side or the other?

As investigators tried to piece together what led to the shootings, new details emerged about Mr. Boelter, a father of five who had worked for decades in the food industry.
