Staying in his lane. Could be professional courtesy amongst govenors

*might* be when they first met. Both were on that committee. If it would have stayed with Boelter (sp) being shot, i'd say it was personal. Have to leave it to the experts for a conclusion.

That would be convenient except his pal from when he was 4 or in 4th grade (can't remember which in the article I read) stated he voted for donny last election.

I can go for that. Still be interested in seeing what final report states.

Definitely didn't have his head on straight.

A right wing voter who had a beef with a party associated with No King protest?

Carlson said he was not familiar with the politicians before the shooting and didn’t recall Boelter talking about them. Boelter sometimes mentioned national Democrats he disliked, Carlson said.

“He didn’t like Nancy Pelosi,” he said, referring to the California congresswoman and former speaker of the U.S. House. “He didn’t like [Minnesota Gov. Tim] Walz. He didn’t like [former president Joe] Biden.”

But his comments were ordinary complaints about politicians, and he didn’t express extreme views, Carlson said. He said Boelter supported President Donald Trump and had voted for him. He said Boelter would be offended if someone called him a Democrat.
Someone that actually seems to know him disagrees with you

The entire Left is waiting for those anticipated words…..”He was inspired to shoot Democrats by President Trump”.

The entire Right Is waiting for those anticipated words, “He did it hoping the Country would blame President Trump”

Both ends of the political spectrum might be disappointed.

Thomas Krooks - Registered Republican
Ryan Routh - Voted for Trump in 2016, no violence committed. Obviously crazy.

What was your point?

Agreed. He very well may turn out to be just another crazy with no political motivation or inspiration.

Still waiting on that proof from you. And Salty. Or...did you maybe read Salty's accusation first in another thread and then repeat it here without fact-checking? Cuz he claims to be "the first" to say this. That would be hysterical.

There was a fatal shooting at a protest in Salt Lake yesterday. A bystander was struck and killed when a private security officer for the event fired at a man who pulled out an AR-15 and supposedly ran towards the crowd when confronted by the security guard.

Few other details are available. Maybe we could all....avoid speculating or otherwise taking advantage of this to attack one side or the other?

NONE of us want this. It doesn't matter whether MAGA or Lib.

Uh-huh.

Oh wait... you're the OP, aintcha!

Is that why you titled this thread "Radical Right Shooter"?

To encourage us all to wait before we ascribe any political motivation?

Thanks for being such a calming, reasoning, moderating voice (cough, cough).

Here’s a good article about the shooting suspect. It’s detailed and non partisan. I’ve only included a snippet from the article. Click the link to read the full article. My take is that he sounds like a nut.

What We Know About the Minnesota Shooting Suspect

Vance Boelter, who is suspected in the attacks on two Minnesota politicians and their spouses, was taken into custody on Sunday, ending a major manhunt.

Published June 14, 2025. Updated June 16, 2025, 11:53 a.m. ET

As investigators tried to piece together what led to the shootings, new details emerged about Mr. Boelter, a father of five who had worked for decades in the food industry. In a video he posted online, he described quitting that industry to work on agricultural projects in central Africa. More recently, colleagues said, he had picked up jobs at funeral service companies — including removing dead bodies from houses and nursing homes — to pay the bills.

Vance Boelter’s bail was set at 5 million for killing two human beings.

For comparison, Trump’s bail was set at 175 Million in a civil fraud case.
