I’ve not seen anyone yet respond to your Amazon gift card question (I may have missed it in some of the responses if it has been addressed): Yes, the folks who ask for you to pay with a gift card are almost always making the guy show up in the parking lot, then requiring either a photo of the gift card or the information from it. They then go dark, and since they sent you to a parking lot somewhere where they aren’t, you’re left to wonder what happened. They usually don’t ask for the card information until you are at the alleged incall because they know if you’ve come that far it is far more likely you will feel invested enough in the venture that you’ll give up the card data.

I take Amazon Gift card by email right from amazon as deposits
or you can get the card and send me a pic of the numbers off the back and I can check it right way if it's good and add it to my amazon act ..

I personally am not a fan of deposits. There are only two circumstances where I would ask for one....


1. A person who has NCNS me before (or has a very long history of doing so to others)


2. Someone wanting me to fly to them-- then I ask for a deposit to cover airfare/transportation costs.



Others are free to do business as they see fit-- for me, I'm big on minimal paper trails

I've seen people do this in the sugar baby world. Ladies will set up a date. Text they are on the way. Then ghost you. I don't get it. I still eat my steak or tacos and go home. Some people like to watch the world burn.

I still don't do deposits though. I don't feel like I have to do so to get a date. Plenty of providers don't require that. I get nothing from sending a deposit. And I can always see a sugar baby who doesn't require a deposit.

Twitter has all these beautiful woman who claim to be providers. They even have fake websites. It hilarious, their websites list their services Greek, fisting, PSE etc. Then you go to the rate sheet and you get all this for $250/hr and overnight from $1200 with Cindy Crawford.

I have inquired just for kicks and they immediately lead with asking for a 50% deposits. I asked for reviews and one sent me a screen shot of a text they claimed they received from a client saying how wonderful they were! 🤣🤣🤣

Most pose as providers to funnel traffic to their OF. I’m okay with a small deposit on high end girls that are highly reviewed by reputable clients on reputable sites.

this absolutely happens often and yes, it is a fetish. This isn’t just a case of a guy not showing up. these are guys who text you up to the moment of the appointment, making sure you’re wearing a cute outfit, pretending like they are at the apartment getting the address and then ghosting on you. Getting off on the angry text that you send afterwards.
All the while they had no intention of coming andmight not even be in the same state.

I believe women get ghosted a lot. I have not yet seen a reason to believe it's because of a sadistic kink. That seems like a huge, baseless assumption to me.

Regardless, if they really do get off on angry texts... maybe just stop sending angry texts? When has going off on someone ever resulted in something beneficial for you?

I think women get ghosted a lot. So do roofers. So do plumbers. Lots of people get ghosted in business. The hobby has always been reputation based. People with good reputations get good dates. People with bad reputations struggle. Deposits don't really solve the ghosting problem. If someone has a fetish they might be willing to drop 20 bucks on that fetish. Ladies want deposits because... I don't know. I also dont know why my LinkedIn in profile makes me safer than 50 p411 oks. But.. Giving your personal information, a deposit, and 700 or 800 for a visit is a lot to ask of guys. There are easier ways to have fun. Yoga. Top golf. Steak at Nick and Sam's. These are easier ways to have fun than cashapping deposits for things you don't need.
