oh yes, these are the same people who made it mandatory for Nail Shops to post the phone number to the Human Trafficking hotline in their windows.. that is so kind of them.. now when I walk in to get my nails done, I instinctively peek around, look the Manicurist in the eye, see if she looks away, doesn't give a big smile, or somehow gives me reason to call that hotline! "if you see something, say something"! yeah!
better yet, if my nails don't look as glossy as I wanted, I have that hotline number to blackmail them with! cut me a 50% discount or else! thanks, TDLR!

I found it interesting that Texas would use an Asian woman in a Human Trafficking campaign when the majority of the trafficking comes from south of the border and not Asia. (Probably because they are making it clear that they are targeting massage and AMP establishments)
Most trafficking victims are from Mexico, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic and that information is well documented.

exactly.. that is no accident or randomly chosen photo.
some how I think Sanctuary cities, Dreamers, and other Latin-related political forces are in play, to ignore your factual remark about who is most heavily trafficked.

The Asian ladies working at the amps are here to make money. Some are doing it to support themselves and their families. Some are working to pay debts. Some young ladies are working to pay for college.
Some of the ladies will end up in a long term arrangement with a client. I have friends in ampland that are more than just a provider. They can be very attached to some of their friends.

+1 Bestman. That’s the unspoken tragedy. These girls, most of which are genuinely good people providing and service and making a living, would get swept up and have their lives ruined by the “we’re here to save you” bullshit.

+2 Best and Slim.. I have seen many AMP ladies, and not one time have I ever had a slight suspicion or feeling that a single lady was not working under her own will and choice.. they appear far happier, and much more charming than ladies I work with. the ladies have me alone for an hour, how hard would it be to whisper in my ear?

Yeah, they all come and go as they please. I'm friends with a handful outside the shop and they all came here by choice. Almost all of them are experienced women in their 30s and 40s that know exactly what they are doing. They generally dislike the working conditions, which ironically would be drastically improved if the whole thing was legalized.
LE makes a big deal about them "living" there while they are working, which is bullshit. Next time I pull an all nighter at the office I'm going to tell my boss I'll have them shut down for trafficking.

I think the whole hobby scene in Dallas would be even better if they close these places down at a reasonable hour let the ladies get a decent night's sleep at least during the week

Goose, is that a TDLR badge I see hanging around your neck?
I kid.
good idea, and the AMPs should put the policy in place themselves, BEFORE TDLR gets it mandated. I think the rewards would exceed the small financial loss.. what's wrong with, say:
M-F open 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Saturday open 9:00 a.m to 3:00 a.m.
Sunday open 11:00 a.m. to Midnight
that schedule should satisfy Owners, Patrons, and Ladies.. I think

The problem with making them close is that means all the bar-hoppers that come up single at closing time have no place to go. And, I'm sure tgat the drunk ones tip a bit more than they think.
Maybe, what they need is a system like truckers and pilots. After ten hours, the gotta take a couple o' hours off the table. Duct tape a FitBit to her ass to log time in the saddle and mileage. Of course, some will need one on the back of their heads, too.

fixed.
the Drunks are the worst customers by far.. and potentially the most dangerous. what the AMPs don't need is a news story of Imo shooting an unruly Drunk at 3:00 a.m.
that would destroy AMPville faster than ICE, DPD, and the FBI could do over 3 years.

I read an article about Japanese women. In the article it said 6% of all Japanese women will work in a brothel at sometime in their life. To pay for college, pay off credit cards, or just to support themselves. Makes since to me.

Be careful everyone. Read article that dallas vice to come back up today and im sure they will want to make an example of someone. Always check surroundings. If don't feel right then Go home and try later. Better to have blue balls than to see jail

No problem, feel free to use it!
When you think about it, this is the last type of consensual adult sex which morality fanatics still think it is ok to criminalize, so they are going at it with the gusto of pumped up, wild eyed, drug crazed religious maniacs.
Adultery laws, fornication laws, gay and interracial sex laws are all gone. So this is their last chance to police other peoples bedrooms. It will not last though precisely because of their fanatical overreach.
In the end, freedom and sexual self determination will win.
