Even if the US healthcare before Obama care was as bad you think, why weren't there Americans lining up at Canadian medical facilities?

Ever wonder why you pay twice as much for Cable TV and internet service in Canada?

Ever wonder why, even when the dollar was on par, same item in Canada was exactly 30% more expensive, and Canadians came to shop in the US by the bus loads (they still do, but to a lesser degree)?

As to the healthcare, people thought they were going to get Free healthcare, as majority of the uninsured were uninsured by choice. Now, once the program is in full swing, they either have to participate in a plan, or pay a penalty a few thousand dollars.

Where I worked we had choice of 4 plans from two carriers to pick from.
now its one carriers(different than both) family or self
I was one that always picked the cheapest care plan when had the 4 plans.

and that cheapest plan was way better than what I now have
So my cost has almost doubled
yet what is covered is down

hospital I had 150 copay
now (this is confusing) first 2k is on me, after they pay 2k, its on me again after that
looking at my bill they paid almost 1.5k WTF so I call. They say I got the 2k after federal health care tax on the 2k. WHAT THE FUCK,
so paying more get less, and get taxed on that less where the less is almost nothing.
So I ask what if I had something that keep in a long time.

my stay in hospital was a bit over 4k total. So I'm paying more than carrier where if it was year sooner would have cost me 150. And yet it costs me more. And the carrier says selling Obama type care is killing them. And Thinking of dropping selling it.

All we have to see is how "well" the government manages Medicare and VA health systems on the federal level and Medicaid at the state level.

Throw in the social security system and it becomes VERY apparent that government ONLY hires people who are bad at arithmetic (forget about advanced Calculus, you'd be WAAAY overqualified for a government job).

Fyi, why i can not support today's new liberal agenda is in the link below. I am a liberal to older liberal standards, freedom of speech, freedo of religion, press, etc, today, i would best classified as a libertarian. For that reason, i strongly oppose the resolution below. For starters, what is defined as "hateful rhetoric". It is clearly against freedom of speech, and even gives special protective laws to one reliogious group, which is all unconstitutional. So today's lib democrats support this crap, as well as obama. Cannot support these idiots that want to be the new thought police.
